Mine was washed by the dealer for 8 months so was a bit of a mess. Got it detailed by Stevie in London. As has been said, once its done it will be a lot easier to maintain. Will have a look somewhere else and be back soon. In the meantime.

Theres a video in the guides section bud but basically its pretty straightforward. The most awkward bit is getting the screws into the heat shield. I had one of the 90 deg drives and that made it easy. Just put the sensors back in and I was expectiong alsorts but just started it up and drove it.

Once again a dealer not being fair. It really is awful but I would keep pushing. There have been so many cars on here that have had issues you would think would be resolved without any argument but which have turned into protracted battles. Fortunately many have had good outcomes. Certainly worth presevering with this, totally unnacceptable IMO. I will be going to Nissan customer services on Friday if my little problem isnt resolved and although I know they arent very helpful I will certainly give it a good go. Really feel for you on this one bud.

I only made the mistake of standing very close to it once when the engine was started.

I already have one. I got it even before I picked up the car. Thats how desperate I was to start buying stuff for my new Z. The Aluminium Tax disc holder is a must too for any hardcore tuner. I dropped 2 grams in weight from the stock tax disc holder and could feel the extra throttle response instantly. Weight reduction is the key to fast cars. My next mod to make the car lighter, will be to attach some childrens ballons full of helium to my wing mirrors. In fact, I think the best way to lighten your Z for the track is just not have a driver in it. If you dont get in, then your 75-90 kg saving could give your car the extra edge in a race. Unfortunately, the telekinesis skills to change gear AND steer at the same time, are beyond me. I'll just have to keep practising! Explains a lot, will see how Sarnie an mine research project turns out. must resist

They are addictive, until now, every time I have sold a zed I have bought a newer version. Apart from when I got rid of the 300 to become married and sensible. Cant see this one going in the near future.
