  4. Here we go again. The racing star, who tests new cars and coaches celebrities in the Star in a Reasonably Price Car segment on the show featuring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May has always kept his identity a closely-guarded secret. Last week it was reported that The Stig was a married man in his 30s who lives in a £300,000 house and drives a £15,000 car. But he has now been identified as a 33-year-old former Formula Three, Le Mans, GT and NASCAR racer from Bristol. He allegedly let his identity slip when he asked two Bristol gallery owners to help him produce a limited-edition print of The Stig in action. Gallery owner Simon Whitehead, 27, told The Daily Star Sunday: "I was absolutely amazed when he said he was The Stig, it was quite a big thing in a weird way." Builder Jason goody, 21, also learned his identity last week when he did some work for him and found The Stig's trademark suit and gloves on display in a cabinet. It is thought if The Stig ever revealed his true identity, he could be fired from his role - the original Stig, Perry McCarthy was "killed off" after being discovered. He was shot off the end of an aircraft carrier in a rocket-powered vehicle after revealing his secret. A Top Gear spokesman said: "We never comment on speculation as to who or what The Stig is." We have chosen not to reveal The Stig's name here, but if you want to know who The Stig is, follow this link: Who is Top Gear's The Stig? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/4285...

  11. Will try the US forums bud. Very much missed
  12. Serves you right for being a wealthy person. I am sure there are suppliers out there and will have a look.
  13. From what a very missed person was telling me the aftermarket parts guys sort of stopped bothering with the zeds after the bonnet bulge. I would check very carefully before buying.
  14. They are fine bud, wouldnt say they are louder than the Nismo and I do a lot of long journeys with that. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3970
  15. First lesson of zed ownership, dont buy anything from a dealer. Have a look through the traders section on here. Dont worry too much about driving, just wait until its a bit drier to give it some. We hate threads with nasty pictures
  16. Thats great news bud, glad you have it sorted. Look forward to dragging you out on a Cumbria mini meet when the weather gets better.
  17. That looks like one great car Matt. It will be a long 2 weeks and as mbs said take care on the drive home at this time of year. They are great fun but the weather can make them a little scarey until you get used to them
  18. Martin do you work for them? No bud, its just that any trader on here pays for the privelege and I am keen that they have a right to reply. They dont post on here but if there are issues like this I am keen to have them addressed. I dont think that this is a very good situation, any costs like this should be pointed out initially so will ask them if they wish to comment. The forum is here to benefit traders and members so we need to make sure the system works.
  19. Hi and welcome to the forum. The cars are pretty reliable. There is a buyers guide on here to give you the few issues to look for. Plenty of very well looked after cars on the market at the moment so you will be spoilt for choice. If you find one that you like feel free to post up a link for our opinions. Also moved this to the intro section so you can see what a nice, friendly bunch they are on here.
