Well I did ask tonight but the response wasnt favourable.

I must admit that this year was easier than the previous ones. Liz and I loved it and so did the locals.

Class, she didnt tell me about that.

Nice mate, I have just been up to the hall and the car park seems pretty big when its empty, I may have to think about parking next year, it was pretty congested on Saturday. A big thanks to Licolnbaggie for taking Liz out on the drive out and giving me some peace.

Didnt get many pics as I was pretty busy but these are a few that Liz took. Been pretty busy tidying up and putting things away but we are nearly sorted now.

A few people have asked for a date for next year so its booked again for the weekend of the 29th June. I will also have a chat about using the airfield.

Breakfast time and into the final leg.

What a great night, I guess the format is getting pretty near to what we need now. Its one of the best weekends I have had so hope the rest of the guys enjoyed it as much. As ever there are so many anecdotes to share but I will let the others kick off first. I would just like to say a massive thanks to Ben and Antonia from the Rose and Crown for their support over the weekend, the same to the committee of the hall for allowing us access and free camping, the band and David Kay for a great nights entertainment, the Spitting Pig Hogroast for some fantastic food, The photographers for their hard work in challenging conditions. But most of all, the members who turned up up and shared in what has been a great weekend for Liz and I. I appreciate some people have traveled a long way to attend and hope the journey has been worth it. The event will be repeated next year although we may have to address the parking issue to fit everyone in. Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you for the full english in the morning and then the judging a little later.

Thats all the cars off hooning around the lakes. A bit of peace for a few hours and time to set the bar up, arrange seating for 200 people and get the hog roast going.

Well the rain eventually stopped and the sun came out. A great night in the pub and as always it was fantastic to see the owners turning up and enjoying themselves. Cant wait until tomorrow.
