Hi bud and welcome to the forum. Its only five miles from you so may be worth a look. I would want to know ( with docs) exactly what it has had done and by who. I would also get a full AA inspection. It seems cheap for what it is if its right but remember it will also be highlighted as a cat D so resale will be very very difficult. Let us know how you get on. You could get a brand new 08 GT for under 20k recently.

This is from the US service manual so hope it helps Chris. From the diagram on there it looks like once the cover has been flipped it should pull out. Again, this is US. It says that the license plate should be removed if so equipped. I assume you will be doing this anyway.
