It sounds like the common failure point whch can be welded. With all the guys on here upgrading you can also get a low use one pretty cheap if you put a post in the wanted section.

I love the front but hate the back, why do they do that The commentary isnt very complimetary about the handling either. I will be interesting to see how they price this if it comes to the UK.

Its worth mentioning the road tax issue too, pre 06 is almost half the price

There are some nice cars for sale on here. There are a few zeds with mileage well over 100k and no issues. If you want to seriously increase the HP of the zed you will need to consider the TT or supercharger route which get expensive. A few companies have had a go at the remaps but havent seen any posts where it has been any good. The ecu cancels out all minor gains from induction kits and exhausts etc.

I think the whole extended warranty thing is a very gray area. Porsche recently stopped handing them out and they are now finding owners coming in with Tesco warranties at half the price which cover more. Its so difficult to work out what they cover.

I was trying to juggle the shifts to fit this one in as it was a great event last year. Cant make this years but I can recommend it to anyone who can. As ever Robs organisation makes everything very easy.
