  1. I would have thought the warranty is with Clarion via Nissan so any dealer can sort it. Just give them a ring.
  2. I am braced ready for another caning by Darling. Cant see anything good coming out of the budget. I expect he will batter the usual things and expect a whole raft of new stealth taxes
  3. Pop down to Barton Townley in Barrow bud, they will sort it for you. The Nissan dealer up the coast is supposed to be tretty good too, AK350Z used them.
  4. Just let me know what you want. I will be putting an order in soon. viewtopic.php?f=67&t=16618
  5. Nice one bud. We will be on a stand with the banners up
  6. I reinstated the post so if anyone has a problem with that let me know
  7. Thanks Liam, you dont know how much I was worried about this
  8. OK a few other comments. My buddy is pretty good with porker ECUs and was amazed at how it adapted. I seem to remember that if you take the sound system out of the car and move it there are issues. Mine worked fine and even though the battery had been disconnected it was fine. When it had been fitted I turned the ignition key but didnt start the engine. I could hear the ECU learning things like the throttle control. Left it to settle down for about 15 minutes. At this point there were no warning lights on which amazed me. I then started the engine and as expected it wasnt that happy. The revs fluctuated whilst it sorted iteself out. Again, after about 15 minutes it was sweet. I have a friend of a friend who has a rolling road and will get it on there as soon as I can. The thinking is that the gains advertised by the Nismo exhaust and the JWT popcharger should actually work now. As such I should have over 300 bhp. As said previously though, its a great drive and the power seems to be very smooth. It just accelerates so much faster in all gears. And for Adam, the previous owner had it on his car for a couple of years. During that time he had it pluggd into the local dealers computer and it was fine so there shouldnt be any issues. As for price, the best £200 I have ever spent
  9. Bloody hell Just given it some beans on a local airfield. First the boring stuff. Everything works on the car. The imobiliser is fine. The stereo works etc etc, Now the fun stuff. I know its difficult to be objective but it takes off like a rocket. The power is still smooth but when I floored it in second I thought i was in the wrong car. SUCCESS Off to buy my mate a pint now
  10. Its in, the car is running, no warning lights. Just giving it some time to settle in and then its test run time
  11. Just been looking around on this site and there are some cool options to creat just about anything with your zed on it. http://www.zazzle.co.uk/mousepads
  12. If it works I will have a spare stock one which can be reworked.
  13. Also just reading on another thread that someone is getting the full axle fix under warranty so would be interesting to see why different dealers do different fixes on known problems.
  14. I find it easier to do an ecu reset with two people. There is also a crowd forming to watch
  15. The 02 cars are imports and they have different spec codes. ST etc. There is a guide on the forum.
  16. I think you are asking the wrong person bud Very much down to personal taste so a lot of the mods are the same as for the coupe. Most people start with an induction kit and an exhaust, they sound pretty good with the roof down. Having said that the car looks pretty special as standard so nothing needs to be done. If its an import just check what it has with regards to ICE. A lot of the JDM stuff may need replacing, sat nave radio etc.
  17. Good news on the Bose, there is a uk company handling them now so it should be quick. Greasing the axle is their quick fix and what they usually do as its a lot cheaper. Make sure you ask them what they will do if it comes back. From memory, after submitting the pics Nissan have always replaced rather than repaired the wheels.
  18. Fair point. Get the deal done and get modding. This is when we get our own back on the tintops. Summer
  19. Thats not as unusual as it sound bud. Most of the imports have very low miles which is one reason they are so popular. There is a very nice on for sale on here at the moment
  20. The guide on here is brilliant. Thats it all stripped out. Very tempted to finish it on my own but I think the sensible thing would be to wait until I have an expert on hand.
  21. I hope this is of some help. Voice command mode is activated by the LH middle switch on the steering wheel (the little face with sound waves coming out of it). On first use you will need to enable it with a PIN number, e.g. for your specific mobile phone or for the Bluetooth adapter. Say "Enter PIN" and when the system replies speak the four numbers of the PIN. Other voice instructions available are then: "Delete" "Delete all" "Repeat" to correct and check your PIN entry. "Dial" and "Redial" "Store name" and then follow the system voice prompts. Repeat "Store" when correct number successfully accepted. You can also use "Delete", "Delete all", "Delete first" and "Delete last" to make corrections. "Repeat" to verify the number entry. "Dial name" lets you recall a stored number by speaking the stored name. "Dial number" allows you voice input the number to be dialled. After speaking the number and hearing confirmation, say "Dial" "Play names" or "Play phone book" or "List phone book" or "Read phone book" will get the system to tell you who is stored. Remove names via "Delete name" and following the system voice prompts.
