Hi and welcome to the forum. The door is a bit of a problem. I had a bridview retro fitted in my roadster and it a bit plasticy. When it works the door pulls back out until it is fully clear and then flips down. When it was fitted the dealer mechanics had not clipped the dash back on properly and it did jam.

Dont worry bud, nobody was more out of his depth than me before I found this place. There are lots of owners in Essex and some great local meets.

It happens a lot bud, they just google 350z and copy the latest specs. Get a local owner to have a look at it. The answers to the qustions could be interesting

Welcome to one of the downsides of zed ownership. The dealers vary a lot and some, as you have found out are rubbish. They will be trying to work out if they can get a car that you will buy. My local dealer has a base 55 plate roadster on at 20k so many still havent got a handle on the market. 1st recommendation, buy one from a member on here. You can search the owners posts and get a good idea of the cars history. Either that or get a recommendation from an owner on one of the better dealers. Independants may not know the cars very well but someone local may well be happy to come along with you.

And I will try to moderate my comments on the car comparison. I see lots of boxsters and caymans, ..... in my mirror

I find that dropping it into 3rd at about 60 mph tends to be the most pleasing roar.

Cant help with the technical checks but if you need a replacement it would be worth asking R35LEE
