    Sorry we didnt make it back for the evening Derek, that was my fault. All this time sat ata laptop doesnt make for good stamina, my feet were killing me. I think thats why they call them driving shoes, they dont like fields. I will make up for it at Calverton

    I have the sat nav. Its pretty good but doesnt take postcodes. To be honest there are better units out there for little cost, the Nissan one is £1300 plus fitting. Plenty of guides on here for alternatives. I would go for the lower mileage one. And welcome to the forum

    Hi Lucy, welcome to the forum. The squeeky brakes are very annoying. What sort of pads have you got on the car.

    The location of the lodges is great. Right next to the canal, shops,pubs etc. There is plenty of parking and a large green in the middle for socialising. If you are on your own the B&B would be cheaper. Imagine the Wales run with great scenery and no traffic.
