Personally I would buy a slightly older car and save the money for modding. I dont think you will find much difference in the drive between the various engines. The older ones have plenty of power for me and I have the lardy roadster.
I think its worth mentioning that we will attend any shows and if anyone finds one that we havent covered then please post it up. Rob does a great job in sorting the tickets and passes out but if anything falls off the radar then let us know.
We know this is a great forum and the meets are always enjoyed by the owners. If you havent been to one yet then get your name down.
Thats very kind of you Nick but I was very aware that my every movement was being prompted by someone who knew what he was doing.
And Tim, speak to Nick before you go near my car, the paint readings were pretty scary.
I am a lot more chilled about it than I was. I smashed a cat on the last Hoon. Driving through Wrexham before the Wales run I took the wrong turning and hit one of those massive cone shaped bumps, the noise was awful.
Its amazing what you can get away with though.
You should be through the nasty bit this evening Chris. Its not as bad as it looks by the way. Considering I forgot the start I seem to be doing very well.
