  1. Two choices really, either an upgraded one from the traders on here or R35LEE may have one, he has just scrapped a couple of new-ish 350s . Drop him a PM. There is a guide for changing them on here. Its it a GT or not, he will need to know.
  2. Hi and welcome to the forum. Thats great bud, get some pics posted when it arrives. You are allowed a little time to enjoy it first though. Where are you from bud.

  5. I agree Rob. If I am off I will attend any show. They are always great fun and I pretty much organise my work schedule around them. Unfortunately I am not off for this one but I always look forward to seeing the pics.
  6. Hi and welcome to the forum. Get a roadster
  7. I have no pics but will search out some google examples. My best Beetle story is as follows. One of Lizs friends who has a lot of bad luck with cars, mainly self inflicted bought a nice yellow Beetle. He asked my Porker mechanic mate to fit a convertable kit whch he did and took a long time to get it exactly right. The car looked very nice He then decided that the black top didnt look right on a yellow car so he painted it...... Handpainted it with Black Hammerite It didnt look that good now so he decided to sell it. Prior to the painting he had been offered £1500 for it so he advertised it at that. £1000 £500 Finally Liz told me that he had sold it for £200. To the clowns from a circus that was visiting
  8. Glad you got this sorted bud. I am also pleased that it was nothing serious. Just in case you are feeling a little miffed that it was something so simple I will post a clue here to see if anyone else can work it out. This is how we get all the knowledge on the forum mate. Problem; Passenger door doesnt open. Clue; Original key fob has failed so he is using the spare one. OK guys, go for it
  9. I had the same problem, took it into the dealers and they took the numbers off it and ordered a replacement. The only stipulation was that once the new unit arrived the old one had to be returned to the manufacturer within 5 days. It took about 3 days to arrive and was all done under warranty.
  10. Heard the story Mark and the pics make it sadder
  11. I am just going to places I dont know more.
  12. Grounded out 3 times yesterday including a ramp on Newmarket high st. No chance of getting near the racecourse.
  13. There should be a national database of effected roads
  14. Bloody speed bumps and ramps. I know they are needed in some places but its getting to the point where you cant drive through any town without hitting them.
  15. Each of those posts took about 5 minutes as I am on a very slow GPRS link and have a keyboars fault on my laptop. T his means I have to use an on screen keypad which is very slow. I am on my MDA now. When the unit was on Wilkys 03 car he had it in the dealers and they could read it fine. Where I park I need to have about a quarter tank to get in over bumps. The neareat v power is a fair drive away. I put the ecu in for Wales to prove it worked which it did I wouldn't expext someone else to risk trying it I don't need my car every day. Why Ia He has helped me out a few times and had a dyno booked. Back to the laptop now.
  16. Sounds like a fun day Ian, I think this place is busy enough to support regional options for those who cant travel.
