Dear Sailors,
You’ve just completed one of the longest legs of this marathon race. No time to rest so far!
Tomorrow, it’s back to the sea for the start of the third leg.
The plan : In approximately 3 weeks of racing, you will cross the South Atlantic, quite a complex route. You will have to zigzag between the areas of light wind in the South Atlantic High Pressure to arrive safe and sound at the southern tip of Africa, Cape Town. This leg will also take you towards the most southerly point of the Clipper 09-10 Round the World Yacht Race.
Start : Rio de Janeiro, Tuesday, October 27 at 18:00
Arrival: Cape Town (South Africa)
As with the previous leg there are no waypoints on the course to constrain your imagination, so be creative!
The finish line will close on Sunday, November 22nd at 20h00 GMT+1. If you're out of time your boat will be automatically sent to Cape Town, your ranking will be the one you had just before your teleportation.
