I thik the 280z to the 300 was the biggest styling change really, it certainly generated a great deal of discussion.

Hi, my name is Martin and I own a a modified 350z roadster. I wont bother listing all the mods but the important one is that it has a fully functional roof. Nissan customer services have just been on and informed me that the job is completed and all is working. Its a shame that I have just got back to work so cant collect it until christmas eve. Now the important bit. This is my second dealing with Nissan Customer Services and to be honest they have been great both times. The only failing this time was that they assumed the dealer was giving me updates so although CS were monitoring the progress they didnt call me. Once they realised that I was not being updated I got two calls a week on this. I have found them to be supportive and fair.

One would be nice. I had some very positive developments yesterday afternoon and am getting a call back this afternoon so things are looking a lot better now. Golf £££ repairs = less 350z mods.

There are a few on here that do it. Have a search around.

The ecu is the big issue with these mods, it pretty much stops any actual power gains. The auto box wont make any difference. Dealers dont often have a clue what the cars are and list all sorts of strange claims. Most owners selling off forum tend to remove the mods and sell them separately. If you find a car on here then you may get some great mods with it. You can also search the sellers posts to get a feel for the car. This is why we have a strict 50 post rule for selling the cars, it gives the buyer a chance to get some more info.

Mine is usually open on the passenger seat, it rarely gets put away.

I was rather suprised that the guy at customer services had such a low opinion of dealers, then again his day is filled with tales of their muppetry. I hit the dealer with the EEC Block Exemption rules as they mentioned the servicing again, they tried to tell me that not using them was why the car wasnt on the database.

There should be a few around although ZMANALEX sells the newer ones for a very cheap price. They are a lot better.

Mine plays them but I dont have the marvelous upgraded bose.

Firstly check the joints are greased, from memory its the 5th and sixth joint that can be especially sticky. Secondly, Autoglym do a very very good two pack roof treatment, I got mine from Tesco in a great value two for one deal. Thirdly, dont take it to my local dealer If you have no luck then let me know.

Brilliant, I am now doing battle with two manufacturers at once, vw have offered to pay 40% which is ridiculous. And the dealer forgot to register the bloody car when we bought it so customer services cant open a case file until the dealer has done it.

Brembos are a good kit. Worth having IMO. A set would run you about 1k as an upgrade. There are actually quite a few sets of leather seats sold on here, the cloth is usually favoured for track work.
