As its now getting very busy for this year I would appreciate it if anyone camping would use the site at Allithwaite. The car park at the hall will be very busy and I will need all the space I can get. The facilities there are better anyway, If anyone is interested Midge is confirmed as playing the Dent music and beer festival at 4 pm on the Sunday afternnon.

If you are going down this route have a word with some of the companies on here. They at least undertand what the mods are.

Looking at it the other way mine was fine until I did the Hoon. It got a little expensive. Just over 35,000 miles on the car and afterwards I needed a new clutch, flywheel and had smashed a cat. Maybe trying to keep up with a 600bhp roadster wasnt a good idea.

I kind member on here has pointed out that this event clases with ..... Badminton Horse Trials, 7th-11th May You may well need to consider altering your routes accordingly.

For those aski9ng for details of what time to arrive. Check out posts on convoys for your area. Alternatively, we often meet at Chippenham Premier Travel Inn BEFORE 0700 to drive on. The traffic is about as mad as you can imagine so allow a lot of time. From the travel inn its only a feww miles but can take an hour plus. Aim to be ON THE STAND by 0800. The place opens to the public at 0930 and if you leave it too late you will get caught up in the visitor traffic.Make sure you have plenty of fuel when you get near the show. Dont want anyone getting caught out in traffic. At the end of the day the organisers usually let exhibitors off site first which helps a lot. The visitors can take a long time to get out. Finally, the usual warning. The men in blue will be all over this event. If you speed or misbehave in any way they will get you. They can be very inventive in placement of cameras. Have a great time guys.

I have one room vacant in Eabank Lodge, this is the house with individual apartments. Its a three night minimum, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Great value at £60 for the room per night. Its less than 5 minutes walk from the action and there is a Londis across the road. This price also includes me stocking the place with tea, coffee, bacon, eggs, bread, juice and all the essentials.

Bring a few kits to lakeZ mate, we are going to be parked so tight we will need them.

Yes that will work. Anyone on the list posted by Steve earlier in the thread will also have a stand pass. Being on the stand is very enjoyable and makes for a great day. Its also worth mentioning that the Zed only track time is also a great chance to get on track with other owners who will have a great respect for all on the track. Sometimes there are mixed groups which can get interesting.
