  1. Its a good old favourite and one of the cheapest and tastiest cuts of beef available. Brisket, pot roast with red wine and shallots. Recipe requests by pm.
  2. I will also be ordering some new glasses, thats a nice meal and not a mice meal.
  3. Its quite common for me to be stopped late at night in any of the cars and there is alwaysa some lame reason, someone reported a clack car driving erratically etc. I have no problem being stopped as a spot check but get annoyed by all the games. I was once stopped at 3am in Barrow driving home from the docks in full uniform. The BIB said its a funny time to be working, I replied "well you are" Got an official letter from the chief constable for that one. I was also told to watch my back once after a romantic interlude with a coppers ex gorlfriend. Got three points and a fine the next week for shooting a red light, I must have gone temporarily colour blind. The numberplate issue is always going to be an easy in for them so I would just get it changed. My tug never gets pulled.
  4. I am cooking a nice meal to eat just after we win the match. I dont do the traditional valentines cards and flowers as its better to send them for no reason rather than be told to by marketing people.
  5. Travelodge is a safe bet but I think the one near Euston is about £80.
  6. If a jobs worth doing its worth doing properly, remind me never to get in a round with you.
  7. You will get better fuel economy using 99ron. Tesco is also pretty popular and you get points. In my opinion, dont use BP. I will leave out the rant.
  8. Try and stay on your feet this time.
  9. Hi and welcome to the forum. I agree that if they give it a P3 it will be fine.
  10. Many happy returns buddy, look forward to meeting you soon.
  11. Hi and welcome to the forum. The gear change can be quite clunky anyway. Ask the dealer what they have diagnosed and post it up.
  12. Search my posts for "woes" . R35LEE could have fixed it for a lot less though.
  13. You mentioned calendars. Let me know if you want one from here. We have meets in Essex when it stops snowing so come along and say Hi.
  14. I drive like a granny most of the time but Boxters and Caymans wind me up. I have never had a problem with cheering myself up though.
  15. Hi Ben and welcome to the forum. I am in Essex for half the year. There is a sticky post in the FAQ section with some good links for new members,
  16. Its a great weekend and one of the best meets on our calendar. I travel down on the Friday and we have food and drinks in the evening. The Saturday drive out is traditionally a little quiter but the format is changing this year. The Sunday drive out is a great spectacle. The people, especially the kids are out on the streets waving as 60 + zeds go through. Its a great mix of meeting other members and having a drive on some of the best roads in the country.
  17. I can understand why, their warranty was very extensive and would have cost them a fortune. As a roadster owner the roof has been a major issue for me and I would search for someone that would cover it.
  18. For those that may not know, the team on here spend a lot of time talking to each other about various aspects of the forum. Any suggested changes are fully discussed and any action taken by one of the team can be considered as a joint decision. We always try to act in the best interest of the members as a whole and we are very much accountable to the team as a whole. Being a mod on here is a great privilege but also has a lot of responsibility so we dont do anything without discussing it. At the end of the day its probably one of the easiest forums to moderate. Having said that, the guys in red who do the techie stuff may disagree.
  19. I am not sure of the specifics on the Nissan warranty but if it helps most porker owners use the Tesco warranty as its more comprehensive and a lot cheaper.
