  1. I have spent more than that and she is still at home. It was three days before the last Wales run. To save time CS had his supplier ship directly to me. They were having an off day and set a missmatched set. Mitz got the replcements up to me same day and I was very happy to be on the meet.
  2. However...... I bought a great set of wheels from CS in the meantime. I want to be very sure the wheel has no issues before it goes back on.
  3. How bad is the wheel. I have one very buckled wheel in for refurb at the moment at Ace Performance in Scotland. Want to wait and see if they can fix mine. and send them pics of yours. With the roads as they are this think will happen more often so I am hoping to get somewhere that can help out. Have a look at their gallery. http://www.alloywheelrepairs.net/ContactUs.html
  4. I have a full range in the small gap on my shelf, help yerself.
  5. We are always happy to have guys looking to buy at the meets and I am sure the NE owners would make you most welcome if you popped along. Its a lot better to ask them about cars than dealers who often dont have a clue.
  6. Hi Adam and welcome to the forum. Take it easy at first and you will be fine.
  7. Hi and welcome to the forum. Check out the sticky post for new members in the FAQ section. Lots of good links to help you search.
  8. I think we can assume he isnt on a forum then.
  9. Hi and welcome to the forum, another roadster.
  10. I am waiting for final confirmation on this. The location of our stand hasnt been confirmed yet but its going to be very impressive with the full range of zeds on display. We will also be somewhere with easy track access. Tickets can be bought directly from Z club but I am happy to arrange for them if anyone cant do that for any reason. Direct from Z club is easier though. There is also some exciting news coming through, it looks like there will be one of each model invited into the main display area.
  11. Having talked to a few new owners recently I thought this would be worth posting. Firstly, from a personal point of view, I have had the zed for just over 4 years now and before owning it I have never attended any sort of car show or meet. Being of the slighty older generation it never appealed to me. I bought the zed and found this place. I have never looked back. I have now attended events all over the country as was really impressed with the friendly and enthusiastic attitude of the owners. I now sort my work schedule around the show calendar. So why go to these events. Its great to meet the other owners and view work they have don to their cars. There is also the bigger issue to appreciate. The forum is very busy and its largely down to the hits when googling 350z. This is self fueling, the busier we are the more hits we get. Visitors to the shows will come and say Hi. Some will be owners and others will be prospective buyers. How do discounted tickets get funded. There are costs incurred with the running of the forum. The busier it is the greater the cost. The traders help us out and after paying the costs we can use any money left over to help with tickets. Attneding the shows will also help to generate money for the forum. My car is standard, should I still attend. Hell yes, the zed is a pretty special car and looks very cool anyway. We are very pleased to meet the newer owners and members. Its worth mentioning that ex owners are also keen to pop over and say hello. If you find this place useful then imagine how good it is to be able to quiz owners face to face. To summarise; Meets are fun, visually impressive and help the forum continue to grow.
  12. Saturday night will be great.
  13. Try a pm to R35LEE and Zmanalex.
  14. Driven mine three times in 7 months. Its all in the anticipation.
  15. Get to Zedfest, I will make sure you win something.
  16. And on that Tim we totally agree. I have great respect for the Porsche performance cars and get to play with them a lot. IMO the lower range models are like basic cars with the uprated copy body kits on. With a skilled driver they may be fine but I am afraid in my extensive encounters with them they are always ready to back down.
  17. I think its worth mentioning, especially for new owners and those not used to these shows. Your car doesnt have to be modified or covered with bling. We are happy to get any cars on the stand. Its about meeting new owners, showing the cars and forum off and generally having a great time. Its going to be a great show season so come along and be part of the experience.
  18. Nice spot Rich, I really dont know how people find the time to post so much.
  19. Good shout Nic, I was wondering what excuse we were using.
