The forum line is very strict on driving standards at any event we organise. There will always be a drivers brief beforehand which states that dangerous driving or speeding will bring consequences. We have rarely had to punish anyone but the team take this very seriously. We have even had the police attend our events to do the brief. Other than that we cant do much about owners when not at organised meets however we do have a very strict line about anyone bragging about speeding or racing other than on organised track days. On a personal note, I am very aware that the actions of any owners reflects on the other owners as a whole. The cars arent that common.

I will see you about 1130 then.

Dont worry, they wont key any other cars.

Thanks guys, they are now an 8 piece band and are doing this at a great price so deserve some support. -
Just checked at the pub tonight, there are only five of you booked in for meals on Friday. This week has been busy and they were fully booked every night. If the weather is good they can only do 100 covers including the tables outside. The tourists normally book the place up a few days in advance. At the moment there are 120 people from the forums attending.

Hi Lyndsey, as said elsewhere its about 1.8 miles so up to you. If you like I can make sure your car is clear to come out of the hall first on Saturday so you arent delayed. The hall is less than 5 minutes from Eabank. -
Dont worry mate, I had you down on my wristbands list here.

Yes mate. The Friday night I have a local guy playing at and hopefully outside the pub if the weather behaves. The pub will be full but we have four in the village so eating should be fine. The Rose and Crown do the best food though. I walk to Allithwaite a fair bit so its not a big deal. Its about £5 by taxi so only a quid each if you car share. Getting a room may be tricky at this stage. The Hope and Anchor pub is only 5 minutes walk away and may have a room left. -

The weekend is based at the Rose and Crown in Cark. Parking is here. Cark In Cartmel Grange Over Sands LA11 7NU The Rose and Crown pub is right next door. The weekend is free so its just a matter of finding somewhere to stay. If you want to camp there is plenty of space at Allithwaite community hall 1.8 miles away. Its £10 per night per tent or £12 with power hook up. And this is Midge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midge_Ure -

The only restiction on numbers is for the first part of Saturday night. The hall can only take 200 people to comply with fire regs. At the moment I have 120 people attending. There are 20 crew and staff plus 60 locals. I have no problem with people turning up on the day without adding their names to the list. I would also expect a few to have to drop out. So the only restirction is for the Midge bit. I have 200 wristbands and when they are gone thats it. Anyone else can still do the rest of the weekend and enjoy the BBQ and bar plus Pink as Floyd. You will still be able to hear Midge from the bar anyway. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/80641-lakez-names-thread/page__st__80 -

I will try to get some pics when we do the job. Ironically my late father was pilot for the launch of the Invincible at Barrow. When bringing it into the dock a tugs line parted and she hit the quay damaging the bow. Its one of the few times the papers didnt announce the successful launch by Commander ****** RN and had his name down.
