I would agree with raising the limit on motorways in principal but as I sit listening to the lengthy road report on radio 2 I think the amount of accidents, closures and delays would shut the country down.
Too many useless drivers and too much traffic on the roads.
26 years with a clean license for me after getting cuaght twice in six months.
IMO with the amount of unmarked cars, cameras, horse boxes, helicopter etc. there is only one foolproof way to avoid getting caught.
Hi and welcome to the forum.
The birdview sat nav as a dealer supplied retrofit is about £1300 and not really worth the money IMO. Nurrish on here sells a unit which is much better for a good price. It also has a reversing camera.
Well what a great day. Thanks to Kats great planning all went extremely well. The hotel played a blinder and were very supportive.
We arrived on course at 9-30 and got the logistics sorted, Gazebo an chairs in place for the big day.
For those that havent got what this is about yet its a celebration of the wedding of Digsy and Kat with guests at one of the best horse racing venues in the UK.
I share this with you as Digsy is one of the nicest members of the team and a nicer couple you couldnt want to meet.
A great day out and I am happy to say I am in profit, I will be having words with the trainer with the bad tip on Wednesday/
The cars.
V Tec rocks.
I even spotted and carded a Zed
Dont mess with the team.
The ones that matter.
To be fair the staff said I could do anything I liked with the car park. I just didnt have the tape with me but will do next time. The wedding reception also made it busy around the time the Saturday run ended but next time I will have a parking area roped off.
I think we were pretty lucky to get parked at Bala on such a hot day too.
Thats the recce over. Not the best of weather but at least the rain stopped.
7 races last night and it was a little frustrating. 4 second places, all of them very close including my big hit of the night. A big tip from an owner which was beaten by a neck at some serious odds. Lets say that it would have paid for a good holiday.
It was pretty quiet due to the earlier rain but all in all a good meeting.
I did have a couple of winners though and Liz had 4 using the " I like that colour" system.
Just a bit more to do on the logistics and then its the main event.
At a steady speed the GPS will be very accurate. There is a slight time lag though. The modern Sat Nav is very accurate. Out marine system is pretty good up to a couple of metres and coupled to electronic charts makes life a lot easier.
You may be lucky to find a dealer who still has a demo for sale. Nissan handed the last of the 350zs out at 20k and pretty much killed the general market for a while.
I know one dealer that was left with an ex demo at a too high price. Its still there now.

The only one I can find for sale in Cornwall is grey and well overpriced IMO. If you find anything that a fair distance away one of the local members can give it a once over for you.
