Hi and welcome to the forum. Never heard of anyone having problems with a C/F bonnet.

There are no specific problems because a car is an import, if you get the right on its as good as a UK car. Some have 17 inch wheels and no brembos. Some have nice little options not available in the uk. Check out the insurance situation, some companies dont understand them. The specs are harder to understand compared to the UK car, lots of options makes it more difficult than the UK GT/nonGT. JDMs can come with auto boxes if thats something you fancy. Also check out radios and sat navs are compatible for over here. They may well still be limited to 112 mph but that can be sorted.

The good news, you could get something really serious for the Nissan price. The traders on here can help you out with a better system for about 350 quid. Alternatively there are a number of owners who have upgraded and have their old exhausts gathering dust in their garages, you can normally get them for a very good price.
