The three tickets and passes for the special stand have arrived. Thanks very much Steve for taking care of this. I have confirmed that the tickets and passes for the other stand have been posted so they should be at home when I get back tomorrow. The flags will be brought down by Tarmac, well done bud. I will be handing out individual passes and tickets at the Premier Travel in on the morning of the show. We need to LEAVE there at 8 am so please make sure you allow time to get this sorted. As Derek says its a social event so a great chance for people who just like the cars to have a weekend of fun and get to see all the models together. Its also a good opportunity for anyone who is looking to buy, come along and meet some owners and ask all the questions you want. For new owners looking to mod their cars you can find just about any styling, or exhaust mod you could want on show here.

I have another long leave coming up from Wednesday to do Japfest 2 and Zedfest then the races and a trip to Spain. The way it looks at the moment thats it leave wise. until Easter.

I had the same temptation some time ago. The dealer wanted a lot of money to swap. The dealer still has the car 2 years later and I still have a big Always worth asking what the deal would be but unless they play ball I would walk away.

I will be there about 7 pm and there is normally a good turnout on the Friday. There isnt usuallt much in the way of catering though so bring some butties and a few lemonades if you want them. I will be bringing a support car if anyone has space issues for this in the zed. I will also have a dozen or so folding chairs for sale at a knockdown price so no need to bring them.

Like any job, if you know what you are doing its fine. Life at sea in general is now over regulated and all of the fun has gone out of it compared to when I started. The British Merchant navy is now very small and the number of cadets taken on is not enough to keep the industry going. I guess thats what they call progress.
