Thats me home after a great weekend. A massive thanks to Derek and Z club for all the planning that goes into this. I appreciate that the event didnt make a profit but it was money well spent in my opinion.
I think people may have taken too much notice of the weather forecast when deciding wether to attend. The heavy rain showers didnt bother us as the facilities are very good there. The event shelters were a massive boost and kept us dry when needed.
It was quite moving to hear the address by Steve Burns when explaining the sad circumstances around the member of the year award from Z club, Mr ex was a great guy and helped many people out over the years, a sad loss to the z community as a whole.
After many years without camping I was pleased to find out that things have moved on a bit and I was very comfortable. I guess I show say thanks to Liz for her support on Friday night.
Nissan deserve a huge thanks for lending us the two cars on Saturday, it made the event even more special.
To Tim from Envy Valeting, cheers mate for turning out again, the product advice was much appreciated. Glad to hear you have landed back safely after a long drive.
The guys at the scout camp helped a lot as usual and even built a special road for me to get in
And finally, it was very good to meet owners old and new and chill out which is what the weekend is about.
Next years event will be bigger and better with lots of new ideas to pass on nearer the time.
And Chris, the Fezza is awesome.
