  1. Just did that this morning, it looks even better now.
  2. A massive thanks to NeilP for doing this. I know you have big arms but this must have caused you a little discomfort. I am so pleased to have a record of the whole Midge gig. The bonnet from my car is now yours for free.
  3. The more the merrier.
  4. Right guys, thats LakeZ out of the way and I can now concentrate on Zedfest. I am really looking forward to a weekend with someone else doing all the organising. Lets get some names on the ist for this one. If anyone fancies some Karting get you names down for this. I am sorting out the band so although you may not have heard of them they are good.
  5. You are just up the road from Zedfest, see you there.
  6. I know Tramac Sportz has a good reputuaion anyway but I think he merits a separate post on this case. As many will know, especially those who attended LakeZ 2014, I have had a torrid time with my car recently. I have had lectrical problems and the car was also keyed. The original cf bonnet has also faded badly. Chris has sorced me a replacement bonnet. He has had a pretty diffiicult time getting it here. I normally apologise to traders beforehand as if its going to happen it will happen to me. Your efforts are much appreciated mate. Great price too. He even arranged for it to be delivered by a friend in case a courier messed up. A massive thanks to Lee and Andy for fitting it while I was playing at caretaker.
  7. Thanks mate, we try. Just sorting out the date for next year. I am sure the entertainment will be up to sctratch but maybe not as famous. I really appreciate the help I recived from lots of people over the weeknd sorting out tables, cahirs and raffled etc. If you guys enjoyed it then its all worthwhile Liz still hasnt landed again. This forum plus the raffle covered the costs of the weekend and an old property related endowment that I had forgotten about covered Midge. Next year there will be a few tweaks but will be bigger and better. The hog roast will probably be back. To the few people who had a pop at the pub because they didnt book and couldnt get foood..... I did mention it a few times.
  8. I am Admin on there. A friendly forum too.
  9. On the way mate, today I am mostly lying down in a darkened room.
  10. I would also like to thank Andy and Lee ( plus many others) who worked on my car while I was sorting out garbage, toilets and other stuff. The car is now fully functional and working like a dream. Tarmac supplied the new bonnet and I am now in love again. I will pst some pics tomorrow now that I have been released from caretaker duties. It means nothing to me........... Cark.
  11. Well done Lyndsey, you raised a fantastic amount for a very worthy charity.
  12. If anyone has any pics of him or Pink as Floyd from Saturday night please post them up too.
  13. He really nailed it on Saturday. This isnt from then but its a great track.
  14. Always good to catch up mate.
  15. Thanks guys, I really appreciate the comments. So now one of ny longer posts. It was a big learning curve to organise this one. I need to thank a long list of people who were involved in making the Saturday night work. Alex Linney provided all of the PA equipment and did a fantastic job. The Pink as Foyd guys were brilliant. I know they put in a lot of time to make sure they got this one right. They certainly did. A fantastic performance. The Midge Ure side of it was as expected pretty special. He has a very god team working with him. I am pretty sure I will not be able to top this one at LakeZ. For those that werent here I will mention a couple of personal touches which made it even more special. He has a new album out on the 7th July called Fragile. He arrived and when Liz was walking him down to the house he gave her a pre release copy with a lovely message on it. Dedicating a song to her was the icing on the cake. So now for you guys that attended. It would be a waste of time organising this event without an awesome group of owners attending. I loved every minute of it. For those still here the kettle will be on from 0930 in the morning. Not sure what I am going to do with next year but I will try to keep up the standards. There are a lot of people who helped with drive outs, sorting out seating, tables and all sorts of things, your help is much appreciated. For the record, I have seen Midge many times and this was one of the best audiences he has had, he really enjoyed it. Today I have been at Dentdale with him and his team and had a very nice BBQ afterwards. I then had a chilled evening at the Rose and Crown with the guys who are still here. The team at the Rose and Crown did an amazing job over the weekend. Ben and Antonia really pulled the stops out to support us. If anyone agrees it would be nice to leave a comment on Tripadvisor. The planning for next year is already in hand, onwards and upwards.
