  1. Getting the right machine is essential, the paint is very easy to damage. There is a full guide to detailing somewhere, I will find it
  2. Nice one, not only a roadster but a great colour too.
  3. So if I was deciding the price to put on a website i would err on the side of caution and add a bit to make sure I would be safe. I personally voted for advertising the prices but I am thinking that the realistic way of doing this is by word of mouth. Wanted XXX wheels. I would try ^^^ mate, they did me a great deal.
  4. I have spent a lot of time on the same decision. I have posted it too. At the moment I dont have the time to sort mine out but the top suggestion was candy apple red. Hope that helps.
  5. I started to think in terms of A685 then A66 followed bt the west coast. Whichever way I did it the was a problem joining them up. Kendal and then down the coast road may be worth considering. I could get a good deal for snack at the Clarkes.
  6. Remember that lost of prices will vary due to exchange rates. For example if Adam quoted a price including delivery there are lots of variables involved. I agree that it would be great if there were definitive prices posted up on here and welcome traders viewpoints but I doubt it would work. Another example is bulk buying, the volume influences the price If a trader buys a dozen units they will get a price for that. When they are sold and i want one they may order one which will be more expensive. I dont think we can expect traders to outlay thousands of pounds to carry stock with the vast range of bits we may want.
  7. Anything that avoids Greenodd would be good Andrew, one of the most dangerous junctions in the country.
  8. That would be a great idea. I will wait to confirm some details and get onto it. The biggest turnout on here would be the Wales meets. For the LakeZ meet we do have z club and 300zx forum to boost the numbers though. Personally I cant understand why owners dont get more involved, with the numbers we have on this forum we should be able to get some amazing numbers at the shows and meets.
  9. We have a serious challenge to beat the turnout by the RS owner club, they get 200+ cars there every year. Its doable but we need to really support this event to do it. Visually it would be amazing if we got anywhere near these numbers.
  10. Everything is possible. It al depends on numbers. The venus is used to catering for large numbers and the grounds are amazing. The owner goes out of his way to accommodate the owners.
  11. Dodo blue velvet is very good on black too.
  12. Take care with the paint though. Its pretty thin and easy to damage.
  13. I thought you may like to do the route for the drive out Andrew. I was thinking the coast around you would work well.
  14. Sorry bud I was on my phone and its rubbish. Search my posts for supernatural. It really is amazing and makes the hard work detailing a black car really worth it. It lasts pretty well too. Not sure how much experience you have with the detailing bit. I got mine detailed a few times and just watched. I learnt a hell of a lot and although it cost a bit I think it was money well spent. The detailing traders on here will sort you out.
  15. Google Gondola Coniston. Thats a nice trip and a friemd of ours drives it. There is so much to do i the area that i dont know where to start.
  16. Black is a difficult colour nto work with, it looks fantastic when you finish but is a pain to keep looking good. I recommend Black hole polish and Supernatural was. You will of course need lots of other bits but these two are great fr a black car. Dont be put off by the price of the supernatural, I know its not cheap but the finish is amazing and a pot will last you a long time.
  17. Wow, thats a beauty. Congratulations Mr S. If you want to listen to the Scorpion, Kev is only in Doncater and I am sure he would be happy to meet up.
  18. I think it would be safe to add a few of the locals. JK will be approaching the venue over the next few days so I will be able to add some more info to the first post then. If anyone fancies doig anything in particular such as steam trains, steamers, the Gondola etc just post up and I will look into arranging something. 1/ martinmac 2/ toon chris 3/ Rothers 2901 4/ Wasso 5/ Shuck 6/ unabashed 7/ Jak 8/ The G Man 9/ Paulie 10/ Ricey 11/ Vik54 12/ Neilp 13/ Max 14/ Wilky 15/ Quavey 16/ JK240
  19. Nice one Paul, well in. The car will be fine while you are away, I regularly leave mine in storage for long periods. I would love to see your face when you drive off after just having it delivered.
  20. Congratulations bud, way to go. Have a great time in Cuba too. Are you going to be able to get the car before you go. As for flirting..... my dog chases cars too.
  21. It was a bit. Good nto see you getting involved in this, I am hoping for some really good numbers.
  22. I have never heard of this issue before so it seems it could be specific to your car. Hopefully Nissan CS will see it this way and sort it out for you.
  23. Hi and welcome to the forum. You can always ask a local member t check a car out for you and save a wasted journey.
