  2. Hi and welcome to the forum. Always nice to see a new owner with a very shiny car.
  3. Download a card and stick it on the car.
  4. Thats crazy, dont worry, whatever needs doing will cost you a lot less on here. Title edited
  5. We will close this around the 5th December and the Calendars go to print early in the new year for delivery mid january. They run from 1st Feb for 12 months so nobody misses out. I will only be ordering 50 this year so its first come first served when I post up asking for orders.
  6. I have promised myself an evening off tomorrow night so I will update the list of members who have submitted pics. If anyone else wants to e-mail entries before then I can upload them at the same time.
  7. Provided the car has been serviced properly I havent heard of any problems specific to the 350z due to high mileage. Its just a matter of checking the usual areas for wear.
  8. That would be her Vik, they are there for a few days now, two jobs booked. She has a green hull so should be easy to spot.
  9. I will have a word mate, I can normally pick up cars pretty cheap.
  10. Using female logic, think not what you have spent but how much you have saved.
  11. Hi Rob and welcome to the forum. Best of luck with the search.
  12. Hi and welcome to the forum, you may get slightly biased views on here but they really are great. Have a search through the FAQs for all the info you need, there is also a pretty good buyers guide in there.
  13. Hi and welcome to the forum, good luck with the search.
  14. There are plenty of better roadsters on here, hoping they will now post some pics up. The chrome wheels were very nice but were US and the UK winter didnt do them any favours, they were also pretty heavy.
  15. I was going to title is tastefully modified roadsters so that would preclude me. OK, if the others are feeling shy then I will put some pics up. The first mod is not roadster specific but sounds great with the roof down. Ordered direct from the US when the prices were good. A Nismo exhaust, I also got a JW popcharger shipped at the same time. The next thing I did was to change the wheels. This was the start of a very slippery slope, I just love different wheels. The best bit of ownership I was lucky to discover early on. I stumbled on this place when searching for parts. I then made a bad choice and tried to organise a lakes meet. It was not a good day. This was where the drive out ended. A great bunch of people though. The car was great and I was lucky to live in a great area so enjoyed some great days out. It was about here that I started talking to some of the traders on here, one sadly no more. The next thing I did was to have the car detailed. Whilst not strictly being a mod this opened my eyes to how to get the best out of the cars dodgy paintwork. Digsy then sent me this link and i was hooked, its about now that I started to get into modding in a bug way for the first time. I was fortunate to be at a stage of my life when my spare cash enabled me to have some fun. My route to work took me past Sunderland so I arranged for my car to be dropped off there and I drove to work in the legendary ESR loan Citroen. The problem was that I had some money in the bank after selling some land, my wife had suggested i get a hobby, I had internet and my car was with a 350z specialist. What could possibly go wrong. The bodykit was scheduled to be fitted but over the period of two weeks there were a few add ons. To make matters worse Zedrush was modding his car at the same time so we may have started competing. OK, I lost. Non GT car to start with. The day after I collected it. Car and bike magic in Sunderland fixed it, they are very good. The Nismo spoiler that isnt supposed to fit. I then had KW Var 3 coilovers fitted and had it lowered 30mm. This gives 9cms clearance with the kit so I have to be careful. I also killed the clutch at about 30k miles, The car was an ex demo so thats my excuse. I went for a lightweight replacement and was very happy with the result. I then staed that I had done all the mods i was going to do. Next was the engine bay and the lights. I then found some wheels I loved. CF bonnet. New HiFi. The greatest leveller for any roadster owner. It was then time for new wheels ( RIP). Still the best ever IMO. More engine bling. I also had a set of new rear lights from Alex. I still think this was one of the best mods ever, a great price, mad the car safer and looked great. One trashed wheel thanks to a large rock on the road and with two days before the Wales drive it wa time for new wheels again. I was very happy with the outcome though. So I guess thats about it, I havent seen my car for a couple of months now apart from when i have a cuppa.
  16. Hopefully the specialistic Nissan dealers being available can get rid of some of the horror stories we had with the 350zs. Happy that the car is back in safe hands Colin.
  17. So there are no modded roadsters on here.
  18. Happy you liked the car, the colour wars rage on here all the time. Theres no right colour or wrong colour, just the one thats right for you.
  19. ETA 2000 tomorrow, the job starts on Monday at the moment, I think she is doing two rig shifts in all.
