| was quite excited yesterday, it was to be the first time I got to drive the zed in 11 weeks. The car has been in storage so was in a bit of a mess. I was half expecting it but yes, the battery was completely flat so it has been on charge overnight. Attempt two this morning. The big smile was back, I had really missed the sound. Just given her a nice wash, she was in a mess. The supernatural has done the trick though and it still seems to be working. The people in the village are so pleased its back on the road. Happy days.

I have just had a quick look. You can rent a trailer for about £100 per day or a transporter for about £130.

I have had a few moved about over the years. I just used a local garage that had a recovery service.. The last time was some years ago but it wasnt too expensive.

I guess I could have entered this but I dont think I have changed much.

Hi and welcome. The gearbox doesnt take too long to get used to. If the clutch has been upgraded it will feel a fair bit lighter as has been said.

I bought the wheels off ESR and totally forgot about tyres, Phil just warned me about the skipping but they were fine.

I had stretched tyres on those very wheels, the only downside is that the car tends to skip sideways when cornering.
