  1. Aslong as you remembered to turn off the landing light. Sorry.
  2. Thanks Stew. I've had it for about five years now. Hope to have it a lot longer too, sadly it's tucked up for the winter now. I'm waiting until the weekend (hopefully) until I get my 350 and I'll do a proper introduction with some pics. Drop me an address and I will send you a small something as recognition of your being 6000.
  3. Now that would be nice. I think Al may settle for a 4wd car at the moment. I am pleased to say my little Civic managed 60 miles in 4 1/2 hours today but got here.
  4. If ever there was a good compromise then thats it. Great decision.
  5. I do this every year when the snow arrives, saves a lot of hassle. I must admit today was a revelation in the main. The volume of traffic was way down and I was impressed at the care people were taking, leaving a bit of extra room and not making sudden manouvres. There were a few notable exceptions though. The usual suspects.
  6. Oh, and top of my xmas pressie list is a set of BMW tyres, apparently they never slip in snow.
  7. I have the same problem in reverse, need to go A11, M11, M25 A13 tomorrow. The M25 was a mess today.
  8. I am at the forwentways travelodge and the roads here are the best I have seen all day. Its still icy but the A11 is fine.
  9. I have been watching you on the fishing forum Al. Dont rush down better late and safe. We have a job at 1600.
  10. More media hype, the roads were fine for most of the trip. Glad I am not using the M25 until tomorrow though.
  11. Just taken me 20 minutes to get off the car park. This really is a pain.
  12. Cheers Derek, I will give the M62 a go then.
  13. Back to work tomorrow and just trying to find a safe route. I normally use the A66 to Scotch corner then down the A1 and A14 and overnight at the Fourwentways Travelodge. I hate the M62 but am guessing I may have to rethink my route for tomorrow. i will be leaving about noon so all comments before then are appreciated.
  14. I have mine dropped 30mm with coilovers, I would say thats enough. I have a bodykit too but the car doesnt like speedbumps or potholes.
  15. You can do that with the edit function on Photobucket.
  16. Thats very sad news Stephen. Stay strong mate. I was told I had Cancer a while back but the doctor got it wrong.
  17. As Vik says azure is difficult to match. Give it a good check when its done.
  18. Thanks mate, I was hoping you would say that.
  19. And for those of us who dont have a bose.
  20. Happily our local "desert" gives us a unique local climate so we dont get much snow or rain. I may regret posting this later.
  21. I am on BT and getting well over 7. I have noticed the range of the hub is well down at the moment though.
