I am 14 years older than mine but she is a lot better than me with money. She doesnt do internet banking though.

My son had to go to a private school for medical reasons and I gave my ex the money to pay for it every month. I was not happy when the school called me and said the fees hadnt been paid for 6 months. Trust doesnt always work.

Like Dan I learnt the hard way from my first marriage and was left with a lot of debt but still feel theres no point in having a relationship if the trust is not there.

We also chip into a joint savings account which pays for holidays etc. All my investments are in her name for obvious reasons. There has to be trust in any relationship.

What a strange relationship. I could never do something and leave a partner at home.

We have two accounts which are both in joint names but one is hers. I work away so she pretty much sorts out the finances. All the bills go out of my account but she has her own money to run her car and buy her clothes etc. She has a credit card linked to my account fr any emergencies. Seems to work well.

Just dont do what certain other people we know did.

Good to see you back on here anyway. There are never enough sprinkles. I must admit that I am getting a little twitchy about the headline act at LakeZ next year and kind of know how she felt.

The guys decided they would let me play with the clever buttons. Midge is pretty chilled with Liz now after being to the house.

I have a mate who runs a prison and cant believe what goes on there. Give them nothing. I also sort out my own issues.

If you have an aftermarket exhaust a local garage that you know is often better.

The Falklands was like a big playground to me. I didnt really have a job so just did the cooking on the boat and went fishing. Cant remember much about the evenings. I was then asked if I fancied a day out with some of the RCT guys and went along. We got bogged down in the landrover several times and it was great fun. We then arrived at Bluff Cove. A few of the guys had been there at the time. Very sobering. There were several other moments when I realised what the guys went through.

Just been watching the news and I am so pleased our troops have now left the place. I am sure there are others on here who have relatives there. I have the greatest respect for all out armed forces having worked with them in the Falklands for 5 years. There is also one person on here who I am glad will be back soon. You know who you are.
