  1. I would get one from a Porsche dealer. I hear regular horror stories about porkers that have been botched. They turn up at the dealers with major issues. At least from a main dealer you will get the 121 point check.
  2. Hi and welcome to the forum. What tyres do you have and how much tread.
  3. Stick a post up in the wanted section bud.
  4. I was not very keen on maths at school but ended up needing it for work. Spherical trigonometry using logs good fun.
  5. Hi and welcome to the forum, I am sure the locals will be able to help you out.
  6. Hi and welcome to the forum, good choice.
  7. I was in a car as a passenger a couple of weeks ago. We were hit from behind abd thankfully the driver saw the other car charging up behind him and booted it onto the grass verge minimising the impact. Very light damage to the back of his 5 day old Audi. He called his insurance company and when he mentioned rear impact the lady said " oh right, so you will be claiming for personal injury then. This is why insurance is going up. Until the law changes its going to continue.
  8. You have certailnly made a great job of that interior mate. Well done.
  9. Hi and welcome to the forum, plenty of cheap parts on here.
  10. They sometimes jam in one position, work the back bit by hand around the rear window. Let me know how that gets on. Mine stops in some very random positions. Once the back is down the catch should grab and lock it. Where are you btw way.
  11. Welcome to my world. This is my personal opinion. If you take it to a delaers you will be hit with a big bill. From my experience they will throw sensors and motors at it until it works. They did that to me and it still didnt work. My advice is as follow. Get someone to help you. Pick a day when it wont rain. Open the roof as normal. If it stops in one particular position gently help it along. When the mechanism is make sure its clean and then apply silicon grease. Make sure the engine is running as this may drain the battery. Then open and close the roof several times, I normally do it at least half a dozen including 3 or 4 when it is moving freely. Listen carefully to see when you get noises such as release of the rear catch when opening. Hopefully this will fix it. If not post up and we can try some other checks. This was a pretty rare problem until last winter when it popped up a few times.
  12. Personally the massive fuel saving pays for my shed. It saves me about £100 per month. Less miles on the zed too. Its also a lot less worrying when the weather is really bad.
  13. I am just looking forward to seeing some great matches. I always like to think that rugby can rise above the petty nationalistic rubbish which soccer has sunk to. And I hope France get a good stuffing.
  14. May as well enjoy the felling as long as it lasts.
  15. It will be interesting to see how Italy get on, they are really moving forward at the moment.
