  1. Its ok, they e-bay car is an import, gave me a shock though.
  2. Just having a trawl on e-bay and found this. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-G ... 500wt_1287 Thought it looked familiar.
  3. If its failed in the usual place its about £50 to weld. You can get an upgraded exhaust for abbot £400. Dont use a man dealer.
  4. The drive fits in the rear cubby but it still leaves space in there.
  5. Hi and welcome to the forum. Interesting questions and I will give it my best shot. I would say we were more fans of the Z marque rather than Nissan in general. This forum is as much about the community and social side as the cars although its a great source of information and parts. Suprisingly Nissan show almost no interest in us which I can never understand. We have recent dealer interest which is encouraging and I am sure many others visit the forum.
  6. Thats terrible mate, it deserves a rant. I hadnt realised how bad the sytem had got.
  7. I think this is a great idea and desrves a mention. Anyone want to treat the kids. Startline Young Drivers Scheme Launched One of our most exciting innovations for some years is Startline, a scheme to teach 13-16 year olds how to drive in the safe environment of the circuit using the paddock as a mini road network. The innovative young driver scheme, has already been receiving praise from important, influential bodies, like the local authority. Wiltshire County Council’s Road Safety Manager, Judith Billingham said: “This is a very worthwhile experience for young people, in a safe, controlled environment.” The Startline scheme uses highly experienced Advanced Driving Instructors to teach under 17’s the car control skills, driving mindset, sign knowledge, road reading talent, safety know-how and many other essential driving must-haves, in a carefully constructed five-stage program. The aim is to make pre-licence youngsters better, safer drivers when they eventually do get out on the road – giving them the best possible start to their motoring lives. The youngsters improvements are assessed individually by the team of skilled instructors over each of the six-hour sessions (five in total), helping to get the young drivers used to the driving test mentality. And, at the end of each stage, parents get to ride alongside their budding driver offspring, to help them experience driving with passengers, and for the parents to see the improvements the Startline scheme has made, firsthand. The five-stage Startline youth driver initiative will be run in groups during school holiday times, priced at £150.00 for each six-hour stage (of a five-stage course). For more information on Startline, or to book the first few slots in the Autumn Half term in October (24th-27th), please call on 01249 782417 or book online @ www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk.
  8. Double or whipped. Just checked and they wont except the results from anywhere else so it all about the money.
  9. Get yourself a dentist chair for home then -you lay on your back, lower BP while you - win win all round Now theres a plan.
  10. Strange thing about BP at the doctors. I can let a dentist rip out teeth and do root canal work all day and it doesnt bother me. Doctors make my BP go through the roof. My record was around 212/140 from memory. That was with a knackered back though.
  11. One thing to check for is a tappet like noise, a pretty common fault. If you here it walk away, its actually a piston problem.
  12. Dont start me on waiting times, the average for me is an hour. They should have a motto on the door. If you are ill come and sit in our waiting room for an hour and see what you can catch.
  13. Thats my point I guess Ian, they are too busy messing around doing unnecessary tests to concentrate on those who are actually sick.
  14. £35 per test I believe. So much for government cuts.

    WANTED - 350z

Plenty of members in Leicester who can give you a second opinion.
  16. I am seriously considering a change of GP. This is also the one who made a balls up and told me I had cancer a while back. She was wrong thankfully. Its a practice in a town full of elderly people so lots of testing is done. The GP wont even accept the results from my medical done by a GP she knows. I have told her I will be submitting my prescription so its ups to her.
  17. This infuriates me. I take tablets for blood pressure. All fine and they work well so no problem there. My last prescription renewal had a note on it that I had to have a fasting blood test before my next prescription was issued. My leave pattern is a bit random at the moment so I call to make an appointment. The next available is 26th September when I am at work. They are short staffed and it has to be a doctor that does it as they dont have a nurse. Thats stupid enough in itself. The GP has admitted that they do it as a money earner which is why they are so busy. So the next available appointment is 10th October when I am holiday, the first one for ages. The next one would be 17th October as they only do it on NMonday and Wednesday mornings. She doesnt want to renew my prescription so it will be a month wthout the tablets. I have just had a full medical with another doctor which was fine. The same doctor allows a mate in Spain to have his tablets when he isnt even in the country. My blood pressure has just got up.
