  1. I would, Zedrush pretty well scoured every supplier to get his bits so the price should be pretty good. :D

 we both done our fair share ;)

    Some still are ;)

I have a spare seat for Wales ;);)

Edit; could have worded that better

:lol: if okay with you might take you up on the offer

  2. I reckon Zedrush they are one of the best wheels i have seen for the z, but how much are we looking for a set ??

At the time I paid around £1300, not sure what they would be now, they were the volk GT-S with diamond black centre, huge mahooosive lip on these too B) For offsets, I left it up to Adam as he has his own 350z so he knows what works and what doesnt. The lip actually comes really shiney, you got to clean them minimum once a week, I messed mine up hence why the lip was a duller colour.

They were 19x10 rear and 19x9.5 front

  3. National Insurance, both employers and employees

    Income tax

    Corporation tax

    Tax on dividends

And then on anything you manage to get into your back pocket after all that, you get to pay Value added Tax on the stuff you buy!

Follow £100 through the flow and its £32.50 in corporation tax, pay yourself the remaining £67.50 as a bonus and at 40% thats another £27 in tax, and lets not forget the 67p national insurance, leaving you with £39.33, oh and it cost the comapny £12.80 to pay you the £100 in the first place.

So in the above example it costs £112.80 to put £39.33 in the employees pocket. Thats over 65% in tax.

Then you spend that £39.33 on goods liable for VAT and youve actually coughed up another £5.90 in tax, leaving you with £33.43 from the original £112.80...

Of course there are options for some of dividend payment instead of bonuses, or sticking money into a pension fund to save the corporation tax, though the latter doesnt officially get it into your pocket until you retire, but even these methods aren't exactly what people would call major tax loopholes.

What with the economy having a wonderful time of it and Darling hell bent on getting us into a mess which will need taxes raising to resolve it - I dont think we are in for a pleasant time.

    Happy days..

Wow thanks for cheering up my day you really know how to cheer me up dont ya

  4. I use a basic rule, I favour the party who enable people to prosper without imposing ridiculous regulations on them.

Being a simple sailor I am happy with my wage but like to keep a little of it

i cry a little every month when i see a thrid of my salary go off to the tax man

Tell me about it, 40% I lose

  5. zedrush, awesome car. 280bhp from a remap is pushing the boundaries. which remap was it, skn? heard mix reviews about ttshop. you should have gone to vagcheck ;-)

BTW, what reg was that one, as i've seen someone on the tt forum looking at black QS with baseball leather, and that's rare, so could be your old motor.

It was a 55 plate but doubt it was the same as heard the guy who bought it off me wrote it off unless its been fixed. I had the recaro racing seats in there, but told tt shop to swap em cos they were so uncomfortable. It was their own remap I had a bmc carbon air filter, and magnex exhaust, the chip was stage one, so they said was pushing around 280bhp, which I highly doubt, the car standard was 240. Just really didnt feel I was part of the action when going high speeds in it

  6. nice the car I had before the Z was the limited edition quattro sport 1.8 audi tt, i had it remapped by the tt shop to 280bhp so they said, but I gotta say it was so unresponsive boring no thrill drive. before this I had the 3.2 dsg which was even worse just thirstier. Heres pics of my old one:

    inside1.jpg

When I got the Z the power delivered was so much different, so much rawer, you felt like every inch of the road travelled was an experience. I got to say even though similar bhp you really cant compare the two on delivery they are worlds apart B)

  7. hi to a familiar face.

    celica rocks ;-)

i was very close to securing a deal on a 350z, but as it fell through, i've not really looked again. the car i have does exactly what i want circular of 270bhp with more torque than a celica 190 by far, and have decided against a zed for several reasons (but still great cars from out from the box).

for your interest my TT to insure when i was 24 was about a third of your 350z quote ;-)

TT as in audi TT?

  8. Id like to go 20's at some point too just for the summer and the shows. Ive not really made my mind up on Chrome yet but I would say that if you like it do it - its all personal choice, just be prepared that some wont like them and some will go as far as to slate them but at the end of the day thats their opinion just as buying the chrome wheels was yours.

This is my choice for when I can afford 20's - 5Ziegen 5ZR's

ahh... why didnt you say.. you are forgiven B)

Only when I can afford them but they are definitely in the pipeline :D

very nice, not cheap I almost went down this route for my z but ended going for volk gt-s. Volks do some nice 20" you should check them out too

  9. the tories aren't much better,

my bug bear is that i never voted for brown, and when blair left there should have been an election.

its his turn in the chair, and he's going to try and hold on for as long as possible. even if he screws us all over.

he wont be able to escape may 2010

but how much damage can one party do in 14 months.

    remember last time,

the 3 day week, fuel crisis, strikes galoour, interest rates at 18%

i was only a kid, but my parents remember it :scare:

very true, how are the other countries holding up, are they in a similar scenario as we are?

  12. at least the next 18 months if not 2 years, and i think it s going to get alot worse before it gets any better.

its a slippery slope and the govenment are trying to inject lots of cash to reduce the speed of the slide. but the banks have stuffed up so much i don't think it will payoff.

uk now heavy in debt and soon to be more.

i can't see an improvement till after a general election, same as last time when the tories took over, they tend to reset the balance,

its a repeating pattern, been this way for a long time,

could almost set your watch by it, every 20 years there tends to be a recession, some are bigger than others.

my guess is 18 months to 2 years before it turns, and probably at least 5 years before things are back to normal.

but it is a guess, and i'm by no means an economic expert, jjust an educated guess/

love how Brown says "I am not looking at having an election this year there are more important things to be done as the people want me to focus on the economy" WHat a moron, s because of him we are in this mess, the quicker tory gets in the better imo
