I used them they are good, but they are expensive, but you have to take into consideration that they come out to you which is where the majority of the charge is. I had them come out again to give me a quote, and found that my local garage who also do just as good a job charge me 150 pounds cheaper and I was without my car for 1 day. So if you have the patience, you could save yourself quite a bit.

Sorry Pingu If I have 2005/2006 350z is there a new cubby for that that they might have instock. You thing I will have to modify the Lillyput screen to fit in there?
-
Hi welcome mate, a jap spec yes, Uk may be a struggle, although keep your eyes peeled on pistonheads.com
-
Hi anyone know where I can get Something that will hold a 7" screen in the cubby area above the double din stereo? Tried calling Nissan for the unit that houses the Sat Nav there but they dont seem to have a clue?

Hmm thought it was a vortech saw this:
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/143410.htm
and called up the people where he got from for £4800 they kept going on about the Vortech so assumed it was the one that needed new bonnet. Id much prefer leaving my bonnet standard though. Which one is best Vortech or Stillen?
-
also intending to supercharge (vortech) next year
Okay freaky now, im going with vortech and have to also get the bonnet with the bulge so it will fit. Now I wanna see your birth certificate

Kinetix plenum I should have by tomo, I have just recently got HKS racing suction induction kit, nismo exhaust I have spoken to guy in America (by the way I owe you a lot Beavis cheers for all the advice
) will be getting nearer summer, same as wheels refurbish a they desperatly need it unless I end up selling them and getting something else.
Ill get there in the end, the biggest mod will be next year when I get the supercharger done and fitted for 4800, unless I got that wrong. They say about up to 380BHP,

sounds nice
the race is on!..
(even though I have all the parts ready - execpt the 2003 nav cubby which I am ordering on tuesday) I still reckon it will take me about 6 months to get it sorted!)
I have replaced the stock headunit with one with audio input and will be plugging the pc sound into that and from there it goes via the original bose setup..
thinking I will take it to a pro to get the wiring sorted - assuming they don't want an arm and a leg..
(oh and I have nismo exhaust and kinetix plenum and hi-flow cats ordered now too - great minds think alike, Zedrush!)
sure we werent seperated at birth??
I should have it all done within the next 4 weeks finger crossed as soon as its done I shall be posting pics and advice for anyone who wants to do something similar.

has anyone bought wheels from usa and imported them to this country......... im investigating the ins and outs costs ect before i buy my wheels
The problem is the import duty. You know the cost of the wheels and shipping. You need to get the supplier to value the wheels much less than they actually are so as to lower your import duty. For example my nismo was $950 + $400 shipping this equated to £699. On arrival in the uk i was informed how much duty i would have to pay. I was very happy
Only problem with this is though, is that if anything happens to the wheels your insurance will only cover for the price stated not actual price cost as this will be on the logistics documents and certificate, so its a risk.

No not me, I couldnt put together an led light
I have two friends who are going to do this, one works as an audio fitter and the other is a fibre glass specialist and electrical specialist.
As for channelling sound through the speakers, i bought a Griffin PowerMate controls to adjust the volume and a 4 channel amp so that the mac audio can now be fed directly into the amp which will drive all the speakers
-
That looks the business. How much?
can all be done within £450, you have touchscreen lcd(lilliput or xenarc), mini mac with airport and bluetooth about 1.4hz 60gigs, p1900 converter ac dc (http://linitx.com/product_info.php?products_id=728) and you are pretty much ready to go. Also bought (Griffin Powermate USB Controller) for volume increase and another amp)
You can listen to itunes or cds, radio, dvd's view photos watch mpeg clips, go on to the internet, play games, design photoshop (usual stuff you do on macs generally) have sat nav, work as a hands free kit for phone, reversing camera the works. Was gonna buy an alpine head unit but thi is far better and can chennel through my bose speakers and 15" sub.
So much better

Okay maybe have got this in wrong posting section again but my apologies. Thanks to Sl114, beavis and Lomoto i have been on a mission.Sorting out my nismo exhaust, getting info and ordering a Kinetix plenum, looking into vortech supercharge unit, perhaps changing my wheels again, and now tricking out my car with a fully operational mac mini with itunes.
Went on web and saw this 350z got there first:

There is alot on the internet on how to do this, but find it hard to know if I will need any specific program to intergrate and make my mac work with a touch sensative screen or will the mac automatically do it.:

http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=78868

Is it mac compatible?

Okay almost have everything I need to get this baby on the go, been on a couple of forums and everyone says DO NOT USE YOUR MAC TO RUN THROUGH THE 4 CHANNEL AMPS TO POWER SPEAKERS, they say get a head unit that the mac can speak through and let the headunit go through the speakers. Other wise there will be alot of wierd sounds coming through. Great, more money to spend![](https://www.350z-uk.com/uploads/emoticons/default_wacko.gif)
. So now I need to know which is a cheap but okay head unit to get for this, probably get on ebay preferably under a 100, someone said it should have aux in or out for this to work cant remember. Any help guys?? Great thing is I can still have radio with this head unit. which was proving a headache if I just ran everything of the mac mini ![](https://www.350z-uk.com/uploads/emoticons/default_thumbs.gif)
