  1. I'm just gonna keep quiet throughout all of this..............
  2. I'd be a bit suspicious when the photos are almost two years old.......
  3. Nope, spark plugs are an additional service item at additional cost, every 5 years or 54,000 miles (as is coolant and brake fluid change as well at differing times). The only difference listed in the service schedule (pages 18 and 19 of the service booklet) between a P2 and a P3 is 15. LSD Gear Oil (except viscous coupling type) P2=Inspect, P3=Replace, and the 350 has the viscous couping type which therefore doesn't need replacing. Everything else is identical and therefore Nissan are ripping us off charging extra for a P3 over a P2. I'd like to see someone at Nissan explain why they charge more for a P3.....
  4. No difference at all between P2 and P3 (diff oil doesn't need changing). Rip off by the dealers as I have pointed out before. Get a P2 and save yourself £50. Advice courtesy of a cave-dweller (thanks as usual Sarnie!)
  5. Noooooooooooooooo Let me have the bad news Phil, was it me? dont honestly know but the one you had is totally dead. New one on its way to you now just left with the courier. Cheers Phil; I'll do my best not to kill this one
  6. Noooooooooooooooo Let me have the bad news Phil, was it me?
  7. Private plate. Near the Nottingham turn-off? I passed you and waved
  8. This may be a stupid question, but why no number plates on either the Bugatti or Ferrari? Also, is the Bugatti not available right-hand drive?
  9. I thought that as well! Mine's a 53 plate UK car (no SatNav) and mine sticks out rather than retracts..........
  10. Two GM convertibles spotted - 1 in Sainsbury's car park Epsom on Sunday at 10.30 am - 1 empty parked down Fen Lane between Burton Village and Burton Waters outside Lincoln on Monday at 1.15 pm
  11. Tim, do you do multi-car policies (i.e. I have two and insure both currently with Direct Line who match NCB on the 2nd policy)?
  12. Don't use WD40 as the rubber won't like it too much. Need to get some grease under the rubber boots on the drop links for it to work.
  13. I am no machanic but they are very easy to change and i will do my own. I replaced some drop links on my Vectra 3.2 Gsi and they only cost £13 each and they were 3 times longer Changed mine as they were past just needing grease and they were a bitch! Bolts had rusted completely and needed a lot of heat to get them to shift. Once done the creaking had gone though!
  14. Got both of mine replaced under warranty. The price is ridiculous to buy them at the dealers - can't remember exactly how much they would have been, but laughed like a drain when told!
  15. Very logical - makes good sense! But in reality its unlikely that would have happened... 2 previous owners, etc etc. Probably all just garage services before the customer takes delivery! Only thing to do then is go for the big one P3 and be sure. As I have posted before, there is absolutely no difference between a P2 and a P3 apart from the price! The only difference in the service schedule (page 19 of your service book) is "replace" the LSD gear oil instead of "inspect", but that doesn't apply to us cos we have the viscous coupling type. It's a rip off from Nissan - there is no difference in the services. Just get a P2 done (nobody ever needs to pay for a P3).
  16. I would still go for the refund and get a better car; so cheap at the moment. Thane (and others), we really need a Lincoln area meet at some point - quite a few owners showing up in this neck of the woods (although I've only seen two in the last two years round here)! Local meet anyone? Pyewipe Inn one night and a drive round?
  17. Personally I'd try and get my money back from the dealer on this one and look for a better example (one with no potential hidden problems) as there are shed loads aroud at the moment for good money. If it has been resprayed/touched up due to accident damage they will know this (they should be experts at spotting such things after all) and are trying to fob you off with the "they are all like that" rubbish. How did they describe the car in their advertising?
  18. Andy, which dealer did you buy it from? If it was a main dealer, then they should sort out any bodywork problems for you. Are you based in Scunny yourself? If so, I'll probably see you around (mine is also a silver GT - you'll spot the number plate!). I tend to spend quite a bit of time at the Shell garage next to Asda's!
  19. Link to some of mine with the front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler and LMGT4s for you! http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=
  20. Cheers Phil; helped in no small part by your good self
  21. Part of the deal me using all his Meguires was that I had to have his car in at least one of the pictures That Evo is a seriously quick car, but fugly all the same
  22. Knowing how you lot like your pictures, just been round my mate's house helping prep his 520hp Evo for a weekend at the Ring, and we took some piccies of both cars.
  23. It was fairly easy using small mole grips to turn the white clip to get the bumper partly off. Agree that getting everything back in and aligned is the difficult part! I found it easier to access the light from beneath by undoing the two clips below the bumper near the exhaust exits. Bumper is fairly flexible down there and you can get up behind to the lights that way (although I did undo the top bolts as well).
  24. Be fun describing the mods to your insurance company........ He'd spend more on the phone call than he has on the car! That's hideous by the way.
