Thanks for the thoughts Andy, I personally changed the battery about a month ago so there is a brand new one on there so should not be that, I think this is more electrics related. Changing the battery wouldn't improve a bad earth elsewhere on the system though; always start with the easy things and make sure all connections are good and clean.

Guess yours is pretty accurate then (Cheesecake was going to be posted this morning, but I've eaten it; have a pancake instead )

Does the Zed have two tanks then (never knew that if so)?
-
I want pictures if this happens Camera is all ready I kinda hope he runs out now (as I work from home I'll get all the gory details for you Nurrish)

Mine is that inaccurate I don't bother with it. Always says I've got 0 dte and then I can only get about 60 litres of fuel in (so it's still a quarter full)! I've done over 100 miles with it flashing (---) before and still only squeezed about 72 litres in. Using my scanguage (which is far more accurate) I reckon I've got at least 120 miles left when the dte flashes 0 before I need to start panicking about finding a Shell station.

As everyone seems to have different ideas on when servicing is due and what it comprises I thought I'd list all of the relevant info in one thread. (This assumes an annual mileage of less than 18,000 miles a year and is taken directly from the Nissan Maintenance booklet pages 18 and 19) At 1 Year or 9,000 miles (whichever sooner) P1 service At 2 years or 18,000 miles (whichever sooner P2 service (plus brake fluid change as extra item at additional cost) At 3 years or 27,000 miles (whichever sooner) P1 service (plus coolant change as extra service item at additional cost) At 4 years or 36,000 miles (whichever sooner) P3 service (plus brake fluid change as extra item at additional cost) - though P2 is exactly the same as a P3 At 5 years or 45,000 miles (whichever sooner) P1 service (plus plugs changed as extra service item at additional cost) At 6 years or 54,000 miles (whichever sooner) P2 service (plus brake fluid change plus coolant change as extra service items at additional cost) At 7 years or 63,000 miles (whichever sooner) P1 service At 8 years or 72,000 miles (whichever sooner) P3 service (plus brake fluid change as extra service item at additional cost) see note above about P3 vs P2 At 9 years or 81,000 miles (whichever sooner) P1 service (plus coolant change at additional cost) At 10 years or 90,000 miles (whichever sooner) P2 service (plus brake fluid change and airbag system inspection as extra items at additional cost) As you can see, the brake fluid should be changed every two years (or 27,000 miles if sooner) (regardles of the service due at that time) and the coolant every three years (or every 36,000 miles if sooner). Plugs are changed at 5 years (or every 54,000 miles if sooner). Hope that helps everyone and stops the repeated questions. Any comments welcome. P1 (basic oil change and inspection); P2/P3 (oil change and air filter change and inspection). Apart from that nothing is really done on the 350z above an inspection (don't really know what we are paying for if truth be told).

They are an additional service item at 54,000 miles and are not part of the P3/P2/P1 per se. There is no difference between a P2 and a P3 from Nissan's point of view (pointed out for the hundredth time ) so I've also no idea why the prices are different

to the madhouse. Good luck in the search.

If you're not interested in people's opinions then why ask for them? If you like them go for them, but don't be offended if people say they don't like them when you have specifically started a thread asking "Your thoughts please" Yes, the Nismo's are a plain wheel and v common, but personally I think they suit the Zed pefectly (and as they are a factory option it doesn't screw up your insurance either). Just my two-penneth.....

I personally think they both look fugly. Sorry!

Not me! Mine hasn't been out of the garage for three months apart from the MOT - still waiting for the weather to improve We'll see each other at some point
-
Just don't try putting the magnetic sticker on the rear bumper as it will just fall off like mine did
-
If you have the GB flag on your plate you are fine for driving abroad as it is - if no flag is on your plate, you technically need a GB sticker on the back of the car. Only applies to the rear of the car (no requirement on the front for this).

274 bhp and then they'll remember to attach the belt

Years ago the DVLA wouldn't issue 666 plates - I always quite fancied one! really?? I never knew that - everyday is an education! Way I see it: L666 = 'El Diablo' Ol' Nick = another name for the Devil Works in so many ways! Strange thing is, my mobile number also has 666 in it, and my visa ends in 666. Spooky. Maybe a should shave my head and see if I have any signs! Did I mention my middle name's Damien..? Good choice on the number plate! Mine is similar.... Always been an Iron Maiden nut (hence the 666 bit) and a Baggies fan (hence the WBA) and I'm from Lincoln (hence Lincolnbaggie) Simples! -
