  1. Never had to in mine between services either in four years
  2. The knee pads won't fit in an older car on their own. You also have to replace all the centre console, gear lever surround, stereo/pod surround, air-con unit behind the dash and re-route the hazard wiring.
  3. Water temp in my engine usually around 84 degress, but can climb to 91 if stationary - never seen it above 92 degrees. That's the reading from the scanguage that's permanently plugged into the ECU (don't know where the sensor is mind).
  4. You can get a standard freeview box with two tuners and a hard disk http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-2046.aspx Still £170, but Goodmans do one similar for less (with a smaller hard drive)
  5. BTW I can't believe all you noticed was my stubby What about the rear LEDs and my Zed badge and Nismo wheels I noticed your Zed badges I noticed everything on yours (apart from the wheels that were going round too fast ) Strangely I always look for a stubby first - if there is one I assume the car is on the forum, if not I assume it isn't. Seems to be a pretty universal mod on here
  6. Followed you till the M6 turn-off - nice looking Zed, got to be someone on here as it had a stubby (and I'm sure I've seen it before)!
  7. Clicky axle isn't actually a major problem, just an annoying noise. Mines been doing it for years and I just ignore it now Whereabouts in Lincs are you?
  8. I can get mine on and off with the car on the ground and mine's lowered as well so shouldn't be a problem (unless all the bolts have seized on in which case they just break and rip the plastic )
  9. I did see you all then (and waved), but too quick to flash or anything. I'm surprised you realised it was me as I only just saw yours and no time to clock plates or anything.
  10. Welcome to the forum, and good choice on the car! Don't worry about the clicky axle thing - mine's been doing it for years with no problems (I think I'd miss it if the noise wasn't there anymore )
  11. Yeah, my first "spotted" in nearly four years (On way home from a weekend watching the mighty Baggies run Arsenal ragged ) Darren, were you heading South? (I saw three heading south on the M40, but got no details)
  12. Horrible news to hear. Met Ian at Cadwell and he was a top guy. RIP mate
  13. The stick on aerial that comes with the Highway is not very good - an external glass mounted one is miles better and gives good results.
  14. I've got a Kenwood DAB unit connected through my HU and a glass mounted aerial on the top of the windscreen. Reception is great. Saves having to worry about fitting a new FM/DAB aerial Also got a DAB Pure Highway unit in the X-Trail, again connected to a glass mounted aerial on the windscreen and also works fine. The Highway works via a built-in FM transmitter, but the sound quality is fine for in the car and is also removable so you can take it from car to car and listen on foot as well via headphones. About 60 quid I think. You can buy the glass mounted ones at most car audio specialists As said already, PlanetRock is THE station to listen to....................
  15. I've got a scanguage I'll be bringing if you need any help (not there till Sat night though)?
  16. Locked as items sold.
  17. We like to keep some things in the open
