    Humf!

Do you work at a Nissan dealership? To be fair that is a lot in one car park!
  2. Unfortunately it was a private sale so no come back there. I didnt' know you could extend the manufacturers warranty, I will ask about that. Cheers Doug.
  3. Or constantly drive with windows up and cd player to the max!! ... I know it doesn't work like that either. Hear no evil see no evil?
  4. Ok, just an update if anyones interested... Been quoted as a worst case £749 to do both sides. They said they knew about an issue with older chassis number and this clicking sound and have put right quite a few. For £749 you get; 2xhousing/wheelbearings 2xrepair kits 2xcv boots 2xdust kits. including labour and vat and they said is about a 3 hour job. Best case is £93.59 per side and for that you get the re-grease and 180degree axle rotation. But these prices are dependent on an initial investigation so maybe somewhere in the middle.
  5. Dammit! Warranty ran out 2 days ago!! Any ideas how much a clicky axle is to put right? Is it worth getting it done at a stealer or can anyone recommend somewhere near north london/herts to sort it? I'm thinking of booking it into Glyn Hopkins Watford unless there are any horror stories?
  6. I checked that one and its been replaced and seems fine. Besides the problem with the rear axle though, the cars awesome to drive!! Gone through half a tank and I only got it a few hours ago!! Well looking forward to having a go on the tracks... Are there many other members around Herts?
  7. My bad! Cheers Sarnie found the post. Looks like the cars 3 years old tomorrow so will give it a go on the warranty!! Is there anything else worth getting them to check while its in? Its just hit 30k miles.
  8. Hi All, I've just picked up my UK 2003 350Z. On getting home though, i've noticed a clicking sound when the windows are down coming from the rear wheels?. It is only when accelerating in first and second. It's fine going slow over bumps so I think it rules out the suspension.... I'm thinking something in the drive mechanism? Not the best thing straight after buying it but it wasn't noticeable when I test drove it I've done a search but not come across anything obvious... Any ideas?? Any help, much appreciated... Cheers.
  9. Cheers, I was going to ask about the custard but I thought i'd sound stupid!
  10. Cheers all for your friendly and helpful advice!! I cant believe how much you can pick them up for now!?! Cant wait to get it!! Just one thing put me off a little with the suspension and reports of excess tyre wear on older models? Is this common and how costly?
  11. Hi, I've just joined the forum and i'm planning to pick up a 350 next week. I was just wondering on your thoughts to what you would expect to pay for a 2003 JDM with similar UK GT spec? Thanks in advance... Dan.
