  1. I sold mine on ebay ( ) because i had not use for the sticker as I don't play golf However I am after a sticker that explains to me how to load tesco carrier bags into it...at the moment I cannot figure it out and I am resorting to travel to tesco by Buss and bring the shopping in the bus...
  2. :rant:goddamit... nothing is new! everything has been done before....
  3. I live in a field according to microsfot live or a building site according to G-Earth... The house is 5 years old....COME'ON!!!!
  4. In your case painting them will not "camouflage" them, but colour code them and they will still be meant to be visible... I think that's ok... Here is another idea following from the 3 squares painted red... and the wing mirror 3 square indicator cut outs ... forget sqaure - red paint... make them LED... to light up with interior cabin light! That will be a unique mod, I am pretty sure no one will have anything like it... uber-cool.
  5. NOOOOOOO.... Styling feature hidden????... I think there are some photos in here somewhere with them painted... but I did not personally like it.

    Tuning

I doubt non nissan dealers will be able to do much to improve performance without adding bits... Deterioration of performance should not be noticeable over the life of the current ZEDs, considering the oldest modesl 2002, if the car has been serviced and maintained correctly. Somebody please correct me if I am wrong...but Aside from this an effect you could notice is that the ECU learns and adjusts itself to fuel types, and driving styles, so over a period of time it will average itself to a "optimum" running mode, you might consider it a deterioration. Dealers can connect Nissan-Consult ( diagnostics system) and they can "reset" the ECU. This will refresh the settings and start learning...if you then "give it some stick" the ECU will start learning the new fuels and driving modes and adjust to meet this new "driving style"... And you might notice a slight improvement... but it will be short lived as normal driving will end up "averaging" the settings ... Quite simply... if you maintain the car properly, you should not see a deterioration in performance in such a short time... In time, engine will get dirty, seals will wear, sparks will decrease , combustion will deteriorate, air sensors will deteriorate... but this is longer term, and more difficult to prevent...
  7. Yeah thats right, they were like a factory sanctioned Grey Import. They hold their money very well too. It wasn't a grey import, they did a whole set of validation tests and homologations adjustments the R34 was developed for Euro Usage and for this it required greater cooling capacity for potential Autobahn usage, and generally harder driving expectations... , you will find the R34 are V-SPEC this meant that they added extra oil coolers for the transmission, and RR diff, also adjusted the suspension slightly , and the PC was tuned for UK market... The reason for deciding to sell a model in JDM only or Euro , is purely down to capability of selling it... things like Stagea and so on are big muthas...competing for sales in BMW, AUDI territory... and Euro is a very EURO market... and Japan cars never had the prestige or image to pitch against them... so the cost of developing and homologating the car to meet European requirements would not have justified/recovered by the expected sales in Europe. PLus there is also the fact that we are a market to sell NOT the home country, therefore the priority might have not been there.... (Think what Peugeot, VW etc sell in export markets compared to what they sell in EDM)
  8. www.my370z.com website name and redirects to the current my350z.com page... If it is not bought soon I will do it and will set my separatist organisation... , and ban everyone who has links with existing organisations... (it'll just be me, me me ... ) I an now learning how this buying names works and what to do with them... I am very web-page-creation- ignorant....
  9. ADMINS and I am not exactly sure how it works but would it not be worth to future-proof this forum if it is going to be running beyond 2009 by perhaps, looking into buying website names such as www.370z-uk.com /.co.uk www.370zownersclub.com / .co.uk and then just link them to this page until newer models turn up... Of course it is a bit of a gamble as we don't know if the next Z will use the newly developed 3.7 V6 engine recently introduced to the G37 car, that car which evolved from the G35 which had the same platform and engines as the current 350Z, it is a bit of a gamble to make such sweeping assumptions ... only an idea... i know it will cost money but this could be a good opportunity for community donations...
  10. hummm I wonder what NMGB have to say about a nissan franchised dealer, making a bit of money on the side by selling non Euro 350Z, which takes away sales from European Nissan business... hummmm
  11. london optimism in a grey, dull smoggy world... Bedford seemed ok...a bit of heavy rain for an hour or so but nottoo bad...it was good thing I washed, clayed, polished, waxed the the car this weekend....
  12. Did water get into the engine? ( Where you trying to drive through the water ?) o just cabin? I sincerely hope everything will be ok for you...and really sorry to hear about this.
  13. Accord Type R, if you never drove one, and you are not bothered by fuel consumption, and high revving engine, this will be the most understated race-boy car you'll even find... and generally practical... and super reliable...I know the image these cars have in UK ( see slippers above...) but try one if you never have driven one... It is also the last of the old school VTEC ( engine rotates in opposite direction to other conventional engines,220bhp, 8.200 red line, and a VTEC kick around 6000rpm that will have you gagging for saliva... )
  14. note my statement "handmade mod, by some one handy with a penknife, some LED and a couple of wires" I fail on all 3 counts... I can actually make it look like a REAL DIY job.....
  15. Found this in a Japanese Blog I guess it is a handmade mod, by some one handy with a penknife, some LED and a couple of wires... anyone else find them a cool DIY? and if so, ... who's going to be the first one in Uk to do it?
  16. You bought 9 cars with money you saved for 2 ZEDs? Top negotiations there.....
  17. LMAO another mastercard moment Porsche 911 GT3 bla bla bla £80000 Aston Martin £100000 Ticket round the nurburgring(?) £10.00 Beaten by a VW campervan.... priceless...
  18. How long does anyone think the polished look will remain in an engine bay... unless you are looking after every week, it will be a nightmare to keep clean ... surely??? Spray paint it matt black to go with the rest of the engine bay... much more betterer....
  19. humm not bad... No nismo bumper, but only the skirts and wing give the car a more compact look, but definetely needs the 19's... Perhaps Nismo V2 rr spoiler is "betterer". THANK YOU

If they are Nurburg' photos any one day you could see 2 perhaps even three test vehicles camouflaged. And they will use similar roads... As far as I remember BMW/MERC/AUDI have workshops around there FORD have a workshop there HONDA (seen the latest NSX camouf piccies?) TOYOTA have workshop and TRD/Lexus in KOLN (I think...) NISSAN... and no doubt a few koreans, chinese, italians etc... So spotting two different makes testing camouflaged cars is not rare... IF you come to Millbrook , in Bedfordshire and park outside , the proving ground you'll spot at least 3 different makes with camouflaged cars... (AstMart, Nissan, GM)
  21. I got this at work the other day....mastercard moment... You find the perfect delorean 10,000.00 Buying the film to copy the time machine, 5.99 Buying all the parts and fitting them yourself 500.00 Finding out some kid in a 50 quid scirocco steals your limelight... PRICELESS!!!
  22. i got the 106 pug and is a perfect fit and stretches to fit pretty large objects
  23. I think Letank ( and myself afterwards if he does not take them ) might be interested in those Nismo RIMS Though Letank can offer part exchange with his current RAYS, if you are planning on standardising your motor.

It is called keeping the brand image fresh... Japanese cars normally have 3-4 year lifespan between full model changes... to ensure models don't get to "dated" ;launched 2002 and minor changed 2006 it was really due a new model in 2007 instead they slapped a new engine and bonnet, retrimmed and held back a little due to the still popular current model... Now releasing a full model change in 09 is good business...
