It's seemed an age for us reading your sig Nixy, so I can only imagine how the time has dragged for you Your leather retrim - anything fancy? Lomoto's looks great, his seats are awesome but I suspect you'll wanna be original? Looking forward to seeing more pics though. I'm with you on the stubby - I'm not so sure why stubby's are popular? I like the 'radio controlled' appearance of the original! Plus, do the stubbys work as well or is it tough to get Radio 2 with them

Lincolnbaggie - Running a fleet of vehicles like we do, we have a mechanic and the ruling by Nissan - for warranty to still be valid - is that ANY Garage can service the vehicle as long as: 1. They are VAT registered 2. They use genuine Nissan parts 3. They stamp the Service Book 4. You keep the receipt/invoice My mechanic is definitely going to be doing mine to save me money (I'm a tight a$$), ensure I get it done properly, ensure I don't get ripped off. He's in NG22 8RU if you're interested.

Jacko The drive from LA to San Fran is spectacular along PCH with some great places to stop (cocktails & apps at Dukes in Malibu was a regular fave). I've done it a few times but to do it properly you'll need a couple of days for sure. After Hearst Castle the road gets better and better, especially around Big Sur but don't expect to be going fast. I once did LA to San Fran in 14hours! One side of my face/neck was burnt I looked a right tit when I got there. The trip to San Diego from LA is less exciting (though Laguna Beach is a nice 'arty' town with a good Mexican restaurant on the hillside). San Diego old town is worth seeing as is the waterfront area. You flying or driving to Vegas? The drive is boring as hell from LA (expect 3hrs) but coming over the hill and down in to Vegas is a "turn the music up moment" ('Higher' by Creed is a fave, as is 'Dirty Vegas' by INXS)! Enjoy it. If you pass through Manhattan and Hermosa Beach (just south of LAX) you'll be driving thru my old nieghbourhood

I understand it's one of Chris's (Chesterfield's) many improvements he's got planned. I tend to "mark all topics read" and the hit "unread topics".

Aha, that's why. I've seen a few 07 "old shapes" and wondered why folk would go for them instead of the new one. Good deals I suppose?

Twin engine race kart - what you reckon?
jonathan73 replied to AndyC's topic in Off Topic Discussion
You'll love it Andy We bought 6 Twin Honda 160cc engined Pro-Karts recently (my, my bro 4 friends) and we go every thursday night. We got them for £450 each. We're "testing" at present - getting our lap times down until they plateau, then we'll start stripping the karts of weight (bumpers & things) to further reduce our times. It's great fun though : We're planning on having more Endurance Races too b'cos they're great nights full of excitement. We recently had one with 9 teams (of 3 drivers) taking part - Beavis & Chesterfield came along and enjoyed themselves too. We've not chosen to get into "proper" racing. Yet. I imagine that gets a bit technical and expensive what with having to re-gear the kart for various tracks (short, windy tracks need karts with acceleration, long tracks need top speed), various tyres, chains, sprockets etc; but maybe when we're bored of testing and racing between ourselves we'll want to race properly. Anyway, figure out where you'll store your kart(s) and transport them and you'll never look back! Get insurance too. -
I thin if you chose a different font and centered it on the background it would be bitchin

Not very often a white 350 cruises the streets but I saw one last night about 7:25pm on Mapperly top, Nottingham. Got a funky a$$ front bumper too.

Sign up to carsbymail.co.uk and receive emails of 350s for sale around the country. Though, thinking about it, they may not market them in your price range. Maybe worth a look though, that's how I found my GT4. -
And the guy who's in No 10 now isn't a tit Nor is the guy coming in soon :scare: ?? Clarkson can't be worse. At least he'd get rid of all the political correct bull$hit that this government has shackled us all with over

CALLING UPON THE POWERS OF THE 350Z-UK
jonathan73 replied to Zedrush's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Why did you decide to sell your 350z Jason? (Big for fixing us up last weekend - thanks again BTW) If we know why you're getting rid of your 350 we might have an idea of what would float your boat next... -
I pick up my Yellow GT4 next week (hopefully!)
jonathan73 replied to Hobbit01's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
Hobbit Your UY has caused a lot of debate on here over recent weeks, why the hell didn't the guy sell it quicker? Hope you got a good deal - it certainly seemed to be. WoReD on here (I think) did post a thread months ago about GT4s - where they were, who owned them etc - maybe he knows how many 350z-uk owners there are? Or we start a new thread ??? -
i've only had some fun twice - once with an Evo 9 (it was still inching away from me at 140 so I gave up reasonably pleased that I wasn't blown away) and a BMW 335 DIESEL which I stopped being interested at 100 b'cos it was going to take something silly to finish that off and I had precious cargo on board - Mrs 73! Like many on here I believe that with the 350 there is nothing to prove. Especially to Boy Racers in obviously "lesser" cars. However, I have been known to see the racer mist myself and allowed one or two to get a couple cars' lengths ahead before blowing on by : Speeding is not big, nor clever though. And I'm pleased really that in the 350 it's better to be seen as the cool MOFO that I quite clearly am

Hi. looking to buy a GT4 this weekend.
jonathan73 replied to a topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
GM is a great colour as it allows you to blend into the crowd well - it's the complete opposite to the UY as you're pretty inconspicuous. Loads of GM's on the road too so you won't have much trouble finding one I don't think. As for that nearly new UY. WHY IS IT STILL for Sale? Offer him silly money, he must either be desperate by now or simply not interested in doing a deal. -

Shame you didn't like the UY GT4. Though it does give you the opportunity to get the better BLACK colour The paint does suck BUT if the Stealer reckoned a touch up stick would do the job then WALK AWAY, they appear to be a bit clueless. The UY is such an incredible (pearl and deep clearcoat) paint job with that a touch up stick curely wouldn't do a good job (do any UY guys have a comment???) As for the price. Even in pristine condition they're asking too much. Chesterfield paid the same as me - £21,995. I got mine Nov06, Chesterfield a couple months later I believe. Mine had 18,000 miles on it so the one you saw should be less, IMO. Though you are in Cambridgeshire..... I got mine from OOOP NORTH, Sunderland. Chesterfield's comment about Tax is worth considering. So too would be the 'exclusivity' of a GT4 as only 176 were made (100 Blk, 76 UY)... -
"STEP AWAY FROM THE VE-HICLE" SL114 is selling his for not much more than that and you know with his he'll have looked after it well. Check out his threads and pics in the Media section on here. Out of the 2, SL's would be the way to go for sure.

Bower I'm gonna be abit biased here but a I'd have a GT4 over an '06 any day of the week. Granted, the 06 has the same power and an updated interior with more cup holders and the lights are newer (nicer?) but it has nothing special. Other than being a Z of course. There will always be that edge of exlusivity with the GT4, hence a little premium to be paid presumably. However, I got my GT4 in November and paid £21995 with 18k miles, SatNav, Reverse Parking Sensors, refurbed wheels, and a resprayed door so I believe you should be able to negotiate quite strongly with the dealer. Black GT4 is a different black to other blacks - it's solid rather than metallic. Looks sweet when very clean, difficult to keep that way though. It's a high maintenance colour but one of the very best when clean and shiny. Also the fastest

That's not a bad idea though it may be too narrow - only showing users in Bournemouth, not the surrounding area. The Member's Map is worthwhile taking a look at and adding yourself to: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/membermap.php

Guys, and Zedrush may be of particular help ( ) it's my first anniversary June 2nd and I'll be in the big smoke with my bride and some friends. We're wondering about a decent restuarant. Zedrush has sorted us some guest lists for clubs (thanks big guy), but now we need early evening entertainment ideas. It's a while since I was in London (about 8 yrs) so I've lost any idea of decent place. Please help.... Thanks
