  1. Very - if you know how If you take it to Halfrauds, one of there spotty engineers should be able to do it no probs. Or any back street radio place.
  2. Nixy Although Japan is Region 2, I believe it is NTSC and not PAL. If so, then you'll need to take your system to any old radio shack and get it made Region Free. It should then play everything, including mp3 CDs.
  3. Mine to have corrosive 'bubbles' on the inner rim but I've had mine repainted already - before I knew about warranty issues that I have read on this (interesting) forum. TBH, my local dealer is shocking and I wouldn't hold any hope for any warranty work being done by these clowns.
  4. :scare: I just switched to Privilege as they HALVED my original insurance which was with Equity...
  5. What %age of posts were examples of whoring? I'm following Sarnie's lead
  6. Bird's Eye view???? How do I check that out
  7. looking forward to seeing it install Jay
  8. Google seems to be about 3 yrs out of date. Local live must be closer to 6 yrs out of date for the UK but less so for the US as my old roof deck is showing the "dance floor" we put up there
  9. Dear 350z-uk.com I left home the other morning at the usual time of 7:45 but after less than 2 miles from my house my 350z conked out. I couldn't get it started so walked home where I got the shock of my life.... My husband was standing in front of the mirror in my underwear - knickers, suspender belt and bra. Tackling him on it he responded by saying all his were in the wash and he had no choice other than to go Commando. Pointing out his make up made him break down and confess that he's been cross dressing for the last 6 months. I love him but don't know what to do. Please help. Confused Karen Dear Karen There are many reasons why a 350z would 'conk out' as you put it. The weather we have had recently may have tripped a fuse. Did you check? There is of course the more traditional run out of petrol reason too - are you sure you've not emptied the tank? 350z-uk.com suggests you contact your local garage and have them look at it. 350z-uk.com ?? ?
  10. It's happened before to me. Switch the ignition off and try again. That's what worked for me in the past.

Stuey My standard black B pillars were shocking - all dull and greyish rather than black. BUT Craig Mudd (muddydetail.co.uk) sorted them out a treat when he detailed it in April. I don't know what he used but I suspect he machine polished them and got them back to black - they've stayed that way since. PM him - he's "Muddy" on here.
  12. Best thing that could happen to Chesterfield (the town, not the person) is for it to be burnt down
  13. I've been wanting to know what the fattest tyre that'll fit the GT4 wheels and I cannot believe how hard this info has been to get confirmed.... I like fat tyres but I am also aware of the handling problems when a car is 'over-tyred'. GT4 Wheels: Front= 8J Rear= 8.5J Original tyres: 225.45.18 and 245.45.18 It's definitely possible to get 265.40.18 on the rears but maybe even 285.40.18. Either set would give a tolerance of -1% or +1% on the original using a tyre calculator. Has anyone got any experience of putting fatter tyres on original wheels?
  14. Nice Car, Terrible Photo Looking forward to some more when / if you add mods.
  15. Granted Stew - I don't live on the Motorway so had to get there on 40 & 50mph roads which were about 25 of the 118 miles each way. Still disappointed though. If I have the patience then I may try cruise control at 70 and see if it gives a significantly better mpg
  16. Some great photos Chris (if that's the correct description ). Wow. We've had it pretty light here then in comparison. This year's weather has not been welcome in the 73 household I can tell ya. My shorts drawer has mothballs in it
  17. The centre console, IMO, is a bit much but I like the other subtle bits. Especially the door bits. Just went to your website but there aren't any prices on the bits I'm interested in - electric window door cover, door handle insert, gater surround and dial cover....
  18. I feel for you Nixy, the weather has been horrible and caught more than a few people out. I second the thoughts of all of us on here. And too would air on the side of caution - don't even try to get it started. Get you local friendly garage to recover it and check it out before starting it. I know it's gonna be tempting to try to start it yourself but you may just worsen any damage. At least it doesn't seem as bad as a guy in Range Rover near here. He tried going through Rufford Ford - water up to his window which was slightly open as he was smoking. Water poured in. His engine stopped. His electrics stopped. He couldn't get the window up, he's stuck in 4-5ft of water, can't open the door b'cos of the pressure so just had to sit there till the inside filled up to equal outside. He had no sunroof! Now being able to open the door he SWAM to the bridge. In his suit & tie. Leaving his '04 Range Rover stranded. All this in front of a family we know who were watching! :scare:
  19. No. No slowing down. A good, steady 80-90 all the way. Both directions.
  20. I made the effort of zeroing the mpg/ave speed guage this weekend when going to Worcester.... Going there = 25.8mpg Ave Speed 64mph Coming back = 28.1mpg Ave Speec 61mph ALL Motorway driving. Mostly on Cruise Control. How the hell does anyone manage 30mpg+ I drove like a Saint. And NOT Simon Templar!
  21. Oh Sarnie - bring the lambo I heard a Gallardo coming from a distance just yesterday, what a fcuking awesome sound. coolio julio!
  22. Oh, I like. Very much indeedy. Subtle and stylish.
  23. I guess this has been asked / covered before elsewhere but: 1. What's involved in the TT conversion? 2. Approx cost? 3. Benefits of having it done? What actual gains do you get?
  24. I'd be interested. Saturday or Sunday lunch would work for me. It's about 1hr 15mins from me and a reasonably nice ride out. When? Not w/e 14th or 21st July. 1 beavis 2 M13KYF 3 Lomoto 4 Jonathan73
