  1. Thats not too bad, but I would have to teeter around for two years on 9 points if they had given me six points The problem is I can't teeter!! Drive the same now as I ever did. I just can't help myself. It's Penalty Point Russian Roulette!!
  2. Hope you get it sorted mate. Never had a noise from mine.
  3. Deffo. And probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Well, that and Stealth.

  9. that sounds like a good trip Monkfish how much per week to hire something like a Mustang over there inc. insurance etc. ?? Actually, it may have been a lot more than $400, I honestly wasn't counting. That whole trip cost a fortune. Definitely worthwhile though.
  10. that sounds like a good trip Monkfish how much per week to hire something like a Mustang over there inc. insurance etc. ?? Was a great trip Tim. Can't really remember how much it cost but I'm sure it was around the $400 mark for a week with insurance included. An absolute bargain if you think about it.
  11. Used to do exactly the same mate, but on civilian aircraft. Now a freelance designer in the same industry. I'd be on the tools again in a second if they'd pay me the same as I'm getting now. I miss tapping the glass too. I'm thinking of doing something completely different now, but don't know what yet. Love your avatar btw, Napoleon Dynamite is a brilliant film. Cheers Sgt. Best movie I've seen in ages.
  12. A friend of mine in LA has a new Mustang GT. It's a beast. Also, last year me and the GF drove across the US and we hired a Mustang convertible for the job. It was only a 4.0 V6 jobbie as that's all Hertz had, but it still did the job (and I still managed to get caught speeding by a North Carolina state trooper). The Zed is much quicker than the V6 'stang imo. Was a pleasure filling the fuel tank up from empty every time for like 18 quid though!! As for my fav muscle car, I love the Trans-Am Firebird. Smokey and the Bandit Styleee!! Yeah!!
  13. I didnt hear about that crash, must be pretty well built then for him to walk out unheart. That or very very lucky Yeah, very lucky. From the look of the pics he hit the bin lorry and ended up in some woods. He then walked to a petrol station............bought a tarpaulin.......... and went back and covered the car!! What a freak!! What a strange man, have you got the pics handy? Sorry mate, can't find any pics. Here's the article in English (I take it you don't speak Swedish) http://www.thelocal.se/article.php?ID=5 ... e=20061021
  14. Thanks for that Neo, my day off tomorrow so will try to get one sorted out was going to cost £150 to get the tapes professionally transferred so it looks like it will be better value to buy one of these Blast !! Jessops had to pass their shop on the way to get this DVD recorder thingie, but just couldnt resist their offer on the Cannon 350d SLR camera that was smack across their window .. so got a new camera but still no DVD recorder.. Ahh well next time There's nowt better than a good impulse buy!!
  15. Yeah I seen that one mate. What a collection!! Who was the guy again? Didn't he own an aircraft spares business?

  17. Was in Stockholm a few weeks ago and there was a news report about a Koenigsegg crash. It was the nephew of the guy who owns H&M. He bought a new 'segg and then snubbed the advanced driving course that comes complimentary with the car. Anyway, he owned the car for about 10 hours before overtaking a line of cars and ploughing into an oncoming bin lorry, totalling the 'segg in the process!! Unbelievably, he walked away unscathed!!
