  1. Basically I'm looking for a bodyshop that can spray and fit my lip spoiler at a reasonable price. I live in wigan but work in manchester, anyone able to recommend a bodyshop nearby to either? Cheers
  2. O.k. Well it looks like i may be putting off buying a house until i know what the market is doing. This now free's up abit of cash so i'm thinking of taking the plunge on getting some suspension. I don't want coilovers as im worried that there going to be too harsh and need top mounts which is extra cost. The setup that Val has seems to get the thumbs up, However I'm struggling to find the RSR springs, the Hotchkis are abit too soft so i think i may go for the Tein S-tech springs along with Tokico D-spec dampers, both from the states. My question is, will this setup be o.k.? I've tried to get the spring rates close to the RSR setup. The Teins are stiffer front and softer rear, from my very basic knowledge, won't this increase oversteer? Hotchkis sport coils-------------- 340lbs front/ 330lbs rear Tokico spring/damper set ------ 375lbs front/ 375 lbs rear RSR springs ---------------------- 365 lbs front/417 lbs Tein S-Tech ---------------------- 386 lbs front/403 lbs I know this is a tough question so any help or advice will be appreciated.
  3. Well i cancelled my order today. And have re-ordered it with 10% discount! AndyC - Let us know how you get on with yours, i can't wait to get mine. Been told it will be delivered 2nd April so a couple of weeks to wait. Also got told that the Sony HDMI cable is pants and if your planning on using "true HD" then it will be wise to get a premium cable.
  4. Thats very old, but its supposed to be real. Very Funny though
  5. Nice Kev. The exhaust look pretty mean! go for it. With a car like the 6 you need to keep your mods classy and subtle. I would dispose of the badges though.
  6. I'm spending £500 on a console because i can. Don't see why i shouldn't. Most my friends have xbox 360's so i can go on them pretty much when i want. PGR isn't for me as i found it too easy, i was impressed with Gears of War but it was too short. Plus i don't find paying to go online a plus point when the PS3 is free. I'm not seeing my purchase of the PS3 as a console only, i'm looking at it as a entertainment system as it will also play HD DVD's etc.. which the xbox can do but only as a £130 add on. then you've got wireless connectivity, blu-ray and usb chargers which all come free with the PS3 but are added extras for the xbox and these are all things that i want. Games for the PS3 are also going to be generally cheaper than 360's too. It will add up over time. There are offers for the Premium pack with a game for £499.
  7. The Honda colour your refering to is Pirates Black. I had it on my Civic VTi-s. It looked awesome when the sun was out. Lime Green/Sunburnt Orange would be great too.
  8. Found out last nite my best mate won a xbox 360 on Galaxy radio!! Grrrr:rant:
  9. Just picked up my 32" HD LCD. Just waiting on delivery of my PS3 now
  10. The law as from what i know in the UK from previously working in security is that you can only work 48hrs per week, however this is taken over a two week period so you could in fact work 60hrs in week one and 36hrs in week two and you would be ok. You could previously work over 48hrs a week if you signed a waver, however this is to/has been scrapped due to us going inline with europe. I often worked 96hrs a week..never again. I lost my social life and my mind. I started to become delusional with only getting 1 or 2 hours sleep a day
  11. He was just cruising down the motorway - wheelie was brill too
  12. Same here, i got upto 98 or 99% within 2 month but the last series of races (at well over few hours per race) i just cant be bothered. ive got pretty much every car going anyyay. If your PC is any good i'd recomend GTR2. The physics engine is pretty good, plenty of character (understeer, oversteer) to each model of car. I found the single player pretty boring after a while but the online gaming isnt as bad - some good competition. The setups can be pretty detailed you can even get Motec software on your pc to link up with the game for your setups. Just ordered RACE too which is by the same developer but World touring cars.
  13. Tim - i just need the time to hatch my plan for the pay back i owe you!
  14. Mathy - does that mean you can supply these? If i decide to keep the Zed i may get some of these.
  15. I beleive GT5 is out early next year. I was going to wait for this too but with the buy now pay feb option, i just thought why not!! Should be an awesome game. Have you tried Forza Motorsport, it doesn't have the best graphics but loads of cars and you can mod them too with o.k physics. i only had a small go on it but it seemed pretty good. PGR was too arcadey for me.
  16. Ordered this on Monday and get it on 2nd of may, Can't Wait! I got mine out of of the catalogue as it's buy now pay feb but i know Toys'r'us and argos are usually pretty cheap. Think toy's'r'us where selling them with a few games for £499. Expensive but worth it. Anyone else ordered one?
  17. danb - if you've got the Brembo's i'd recomend you buy them from CS. Thats one bargain, i paid more than that for mine. I wouldn't however recommend the greenstuff, these are designed for lower powered/lighter vehicles and i don't think they would last long. If not the Redstuff then Ferodo DS2500 are half decent.
  18. i contacted z1 performance (i think thats the name?) and they told me they had stopped selling them. I don't know if he meant RSR or the z1 shop?
  19. why dont you pick up some Zed aftermarket parts why your there? Just a thought.. could make your journey worth looking forward to.
  20. i can't make this now Have fun anyway guys! maybe next time....

    GOT ONE!!!!

I like the fairlady badge.! Step 1: Stubby, wheels, window tints, change the god aweful stereo, cargo net so things dont go flying. Step 2: Air filter, exhaust, brakes, suspension, Led rear lights, Led sidelights, Aero Mods. Step 3: TURBO! Overall i think you've got a great buy. Very low mileage at a decent price. Ive had my import for nearly a year now and i haven't had 1 problem apart from some annoying manufacturer faults like clicking rear axle, rubbish hand brake. I would make sure your happy with how they are planning on putting the rear fog light in. Mine is in the bumper which is better than a cheap thing hanging off like ive seen but its not to everyones taste. If i was to do it again i'd have them fit a UK style rear light that includes the fog light. Congrats anyway
