  1. Ahh thats the one! Couldnt think of the varient! Your correct but Its not as simple as that as even S models can come with Bose and leather. Wierd i know but some japs added them as optional extras.
  2. 610 lb/ft torque! thats damn good! Personally i wouldn't keep the standard Brembo's, how they holding up? Awesome though... i'm jelous!
  3. I'd go JDM and get the most basic model with xenons though, for the least money. If your modding you'll be changing the brakes, alloys, and suspension anyway. I think the basic model doesn't come with one of the electronic gizmo's (TC or something) but again with modding you'll not want it anyway. Watching one of the Best motoring/ Hot versions, they tested different Specs of 350z's and they all agreed the basic spec was the best base to start with.
  4. What they didnt tell you was like the zed, they had a prototype version of the SV, which wasnt even finished, however Topgear insisted they had the car anyway. What does Clarkson do, slate its poor build! Its wasnt finished! I remember his review, i'm pretty sure he mentions it wasn't finished though.
  5. I respect the SVR for what it tried to do. I did't think they looked too bad either when i saw a couple at Brands hatch a year or two back. But for all its power and carbon bits, it just doesn't perform from what ive read and thats a big letdown and a shame really. It's like they didn't finish it off. I don't think it could ever replace a Zed though.

    Monaro VXR

Thats a bargain. i like the Monaro VXR's. I like the mean looks, the 400bhp wouldn't go amiss either.
  7. I'd snap them up on their offer mate. Thats not bad! Just make sure you check everything over when you get your car back.
  8. Mine will be up for sale in a couple of month, but i'd be willing to part with it sooner. sob... JDM 52/03 with Brembo's, Xenon headlights, leather etc.. under your budget too. PM me if your interested.
  9. Its probably that the arches are a touch more flared. They certainly don't follow the original lines too faithfully. He really needs a carbon roof even if its only a cover. yeah or at the very least paint it black!
  10. the suspension looks raised due to the car being lighter, unless its the wheels making that effect. Pretty smart though, would have cost a small packet.

    Smart Kid

Another ASBO in the making i think! He'll be nicking your car as soon as he turns 9!
  12. Surely they sold you a car that wasn't safe to drive? I think thats illegal

    Zed v Scooby

Sure but the version 1 sti is down on power 250ps. Plus the scooby guy weighs 25 stone so not much of an advantage....lol My 04 sti was quicker than a friends RA version.
  18. I think the front bumper IS OTT. Im into the Amuse stuff myself. Menacing but yet slightly discreet. Anceltion kit looks good too!

    CBT

Thanks everyone for your comments. Well done Stew! Its a rite laugh giving the little 125 some stick just to get upto 60 isn't it! My U-turn and Emergency braking were spot on when i did mine on the public road. My instructor said i did everything well, although my road positioning is ok but could be better. I didnt feel comfortable pulling fully over to the left when turning left at a T junction. I felt more comfortable being left of the centre of the road at a slight angle, if that makes sense? Anyway i'll do what they say whilst under instruction. I with you though, i can't wait to get my direct access done. I even went upto the new Honda Showroom near preston to see what was about. I very nearly brung one home

    Zed v Scooby

I think you'll be abit faster, in the dry anyway. As Zzzz.. mentions, driver skill will have an effect too.
  21. Mines sinbad666 What you mean by online stuff? You can browse the web like you can on your pc although it sometimes doesn't have the plugins to display all the page depending on what your vewing. 350z-uk and Youtube work fine though. The playstation store just has demo's, video's and games that can be downloaded. Some are free and some you have to pay for but they are usually at a reduced rate. Games wise, if you go on say Motorstorm you can online game with your mates. Plus if you have a headset you can chat to each other like a phone. and instant message each other. (this can be done at main playstation screen or in a online game.)
  22. Spot on dude, the Type-R was bought a month before and run in before the meet so he could give it some beans, to be honest, its not that fast at all and on the way up there could not keep up with me or the Scoobie. The mini is a JCW with full JCW exhaust, upgraded supercharger and a few other mods, cant remember what though. It was nice to be able to say finally that I had the fastest car there too, not that it matters, but the Scoobie owner always went on about how his was faster as its a JDE spec WRX, pushing 270bhp and lighter than mine. He was proven to be wring though JDE? never heard of that unless u mean JDM? My best mate has a type-r too. i really like the interiors of them. the fit and finish is much better than ours. I agree on its speed though, it isn't as fast as i thought it would be, ive not really seen it go round any real bends ut it does seem grippy. Not sure if it'll keep up with my mates Focus RS though on a straight or round the twisties. That JCW must be pretty fast too, does that not give the scooby a run for its money? Nice group of cars.
