  1. thats the place where i got mine from. Fitted ok on my 03 model, don't see why the 04 would be different. £9 is cheap. I had a good look about too and couldn't find them for that price.
  2. The R8 looks too similar to the TT and will be common as muck in a year or two You'd have sold up by then!
  3. Maybe Sarnie needs to have a re-think.. haha
  4. Ross, i did the same thing. They also told me they would fit, and when i double checked he was quite funny with me and was ademant they would. Ive still got them packaged in my garage. Muppets. The LED sidelights look the mutts!
  5. Well if you need another driver or just a pair of hands to help out, just SHOUT! sounds like fun..
  6. Well thats the thing, i'd only be keeping the car for 3-6 months and then it'll be near winter, so i guess something that will not have any weather protection would be pretty hard to sell at that time of year. At least my bike leathers would come in handy
  7. I'd only be keeping the Elise or whatever for a few months just for thrills. I feel like a need to try something alittle more hardcore. How about a Westfield? They come much more hardcore than that and a lot cheaper than an Elise. Possibly? Will it give me weather protection, i will need to use it to go work and back which is a 60mile round motorway trip. Ive been in one of these before and it was a blast but i know nothing about them, what engine? easy to maintain? what about resale?
  8. Around £500 for direct access including test. And around 3k for a bike if i ended up getting another performance car. Otherwise i'll be spending 5k-6k on a bike, getting a banger and pocketing the rest.
  9. I really really want to keep it, but at the same time i want to get my bike test out the way and get a motorbike before i forget everything ive learnt. I'd only be keeping the Elise or whatever for a few months just for thrills. I feel like a need to try something alittle more hardcore.
  10. As some of you may know i'm goin to be selling the zed shortly. I need to get on the housing market and free up some cash so that i can get my bike test done and get a motorbike. however ive been hankering after a VX220 or an early S2 elise. Will these give me the thrills im looking for or are their others i should consider? I'm kinda thinking why not? I could buy one of these and have some spare cash left over to get my motorbike test done and possibly get a motorbike as well. If push comes to shove i could always sell the car 3-6 months down the line to free the cash up. The thing is i don't want to lose too much money in the process as it will all be helping towards a house. I was originally thinking of getting a half decent bike and a banger car for the daily chore, but i don't know what to do now. Please talk some sense into me...
  11. Oh really yes really! Come on, i had my hopes up it was an NSX... what is it

    any advice?

I can assure you, its better than the Type-R in the wet. Much better balanced. You'll still get understeer if you push hard and oversteer if you mash the throttle. But you really having nothing at all to worry about. The Z is the most friendliest performance car going. You'll find that you'll be in the same boat as when you got your Type-R, scared at first but find its a pussy cat, which it is. Nothing to worry about. The main difference is being progressive with the throttle as its RWD, but this applies to dry roads as well. This is my first proper RWD performance car and i've found it a doddle, the only time i had problems (if you want to call it a problem because i was having a blast) was when it snowed during the winter. But to be truthful i shouldn't have gone out it was that bad.
  13. Or morning after pill? Ouch!!.. only messing.
  14. For me you don't!! I love the NSX. Which year and model did you get? You have got to take me for a spin sometime. Get some pics up!
  15. Most people only do road driving and the Yellows need warming up to reach operating temperature. but your right i thought they'd have beeen mentioned before but haven't.
  16. the front calipers are certainly different, there located in a different place.
  17. My brother in law and best friend have had this done. They are now both proud new parents!!! My Brother is also planning on doing it but he keeps delaying it for some reason?? To be truthful i wouldn't do it, maybe i'll change my mind in years to come but i don't think its a bad thing. Both the people i know that have had it done says it doesn't hurt. They were back on their feet within a day.
  18. Ive only just posted but having looked at even more photos i had to say how good a job you've done again!! I've always admired the original M3, so if you ever decide to sell make sure you list it on this forum.
  19. Only just caught back up with this, Looks better than new!! Awesome mate, really liking the M3! You've done a top job. Keep em coming... Where's Dan?
  20. sounds awesome. Had a BBQ the other day, setup at 5:30 and it rained from 6 until 7!!! Wernt no lagoons either I could do with a hol too...
  21. to be fair, all the ones you've listed are meant to be good!
  22. Chorely Nissan (wigan branch). I don't know if its different because my car is out of warranty? P2 equivilent was £140 ish P3 equivilent was £180 ish. All set prices. Still chuffed though. I used £10 of their diesel in the courtesy car too. So in effect it only cost me £75....
  23. I just paid £85 for P1 service!! Got a little Nissan Note as a courtesy car too. Doesn't sound too bad though, i got quoted £175 from another garage near me.
  24. Theres not many cars that look good in red but seeing one in the flesh i think there pretty darn sexy! Looking good anyway!!
