Note sure but they do have a TTE supercharger conversion available for the VVTi engine, could have been that? My sis has the Tsport Corrolla (same 180bhp engine) and it wouldn't stand a chance in a straight line. But saying that, its not all about speed. I enjoy the bends just as much.

Hey Jamie, Thanks for organising this. It was great to see a car show up north for once. I know it was only the first year but i do have some constructive criticism if i may: The event was pretty quiet, K&M acoustics were right at the end and the only ones making some noise which made it feel like there was no "atomsphere". Maybe it was down to Haigh Hall restrictions or my expectations but i expected their to be more cars and more attractions so to speak. Again i know it was the first year so hopefully the 350z-uk.com can contribute next year. I know it wasn't a show and shine event either and i'm all for cars being used for their purposes but some hadn't even been cleaned. I mean one or two of the car clubs where as expected imaculate, but their were a good handfull which handn't seen a bucket of water in weeks. I know theirs nothing much you can do so i guess this is down to the individual. The quality of cars seemed to be really hit and miss. Some were perfect examples and some where dog rough. Last but not least, Advertisement! I live in wigan and only saw one sign just before i got to Haigh Hall saying an event was on. I even drove past the Front gates of Haigh Hall (near the hospital) and only saw that their was a "craft Fair" on?? I looked on the Haigh Hall website and found nothing? I didn't look but was it in the Wigan Reporter? Most people locally read that? Anyway again, thankyou for organising this event. I know how hard it is to get something going like this. The Lexus guys did you proud as they where probably the best presented club there. I was surprised to see soo many supercharged/turbocharged Altezza's. I'm guessing the TTE supercharger is factory backed? Anyway a big thumbs up!!

when i passed my test a drove around in J reg renault 21 turbo for around a year but i had it on loan from my bro. Blue one, leather, all electrics and a quadra model too to boot still miss it today. crashed it and had to buy myself a fiat cinquecento sporting which i spent about 3k on modding haha

As fast as it is, and i bow down to their engineering ability, it just doesn't do anything for me. I don't think it looks particulary good. The whole design looks like a late 80's early 90's design that i could have sketched at school, even the back end looks like a Mclaren F1, surely design has changed since then. Still 273mph is fast as hell!

One of my best friends has a Boxter S, 04 plate i think with GT3 alloys. I wasn't sure of having a ragtop but once you get past the feeling of everyone looking at you its a blast. I aint so keen on the interior and it doesn't feel as emotional as driving my Zed, the engine was just too linear. But ive got to say that its nice to drive, steering is light until weighted up and performance wise its very similar to the Zed. Like others have said, it'll be down to the driver, it didn't feel any faster than my car anyway, the differences would be marginal.

Looking forward to the event. Will be their as part of the public though
