  1. Ive never driven a 328, but with only 190ish bhp i highly doubt it has a better top end IMO . Ive easily dispatched 330's petrol and diesels too. Also when i bought my DC5 my insurance went down from the price i was paying for the Zed...
  2. DC5? Will look abit classier with the oem spoiler i guess: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=128716#128716 If not this then id go with the R26.
  3. I like it mate and the points you make are pretty much spot on, it would be the R26 or the 197 for me in white. The R26 has more potential though and is faster out the box.
  4. haha, i know the guy in the white shirt with the basketball at the begining!! he won DanceX on tv if anyone watched it good add though, i missed the bear..
  5. No prbs mate, i would highly recommend them, the different branches seem to get different feedback although overall they seem like a good company. Its the best insurance comapny i have been with and would never ever use Norwich union again!! full stop. Like i said Thatcham branch are the best of the bunch though..
  6. Looks the dogs mate Anglesey in that? im sure the down hill section will be eventfull
  7. Hey all, just like to say it was good to catch up with you and meet a few new faces. Shire didnt really stop cleaning all the time i was there Must have missed BigPhil Paul - your car looks mint, apologies i never came over you looked ingrosd in polishing the Zed Nice turnout and Martin i did tell chris his mesh was all over the place oh yeah forgot to mention, that Gembella Porsche GT was awesome! Watching it doughnut on track why the marshalls where trying to get him off was quite funny.
  8. Ive made 2 claims with A-plan and they have been nothing short of 1st class. They've always beat all my other quotes and have a very common sense attitude which is lacking with alot of companies nowadays. Thatham where the branch i used.
  9. I never give them back, i lost both keys in birmingham on our ****-up
  10. Yeah good luck Dan, I hope everything goes well with it. From what i know of you i cant see it failing as others have said, its the salesmans attitude that has more of an effect on whether people buy or not. Im sure your looking forward to it, so whens the open day

But if you think about it, its a high performance car and at the end of the day if i had one, id be servicing it every 4.5k anyway, as would i imagine most owners of high performance cars, at least a fluid change... The gallardo only needed servicing every 7.5k Yes, but we're talking high performance here
  12. my eyes!! Looking good Martin
  13. Got to agree with both of them. I think you know the answer and youve just got to do it...

Basically, the reason why the servicing was every 4.5k was because the diff needed an oil change which was expensive. as this was putting buyers off theyve now changed it to every 9k. However through the grape vine, i have heard from some mitsubishi mechanics that things haven't changed much and in all honestly they would still service it every 4.5k. But if you think about it, its a high performance car and at the end of the day if i had one, id be servicing it every 4.5k anyway, as would i imagine most owners of high performance cars, at least a fluid change...
  15. come on Sarnie what did you write
  16. I bet its good with the steering and throttle though.. With the pad im finding it difficult to get the power down smoothly without it snatching, especialy in something like the NSX-R. With the skyline and its 4wd its not too bad as i just 4wheel drift out of bends. What have everyone been getting on B license race 6? Managed to get 1st after a few goes wasnt easy though..
  17. +1 have to agree with this aswell. Company image and how your dealt with also plays a big part in my buying decision.
  18. Hi Dan, long time no speak, hope things are going well! It would certainly put me off but not entirely, the more im paying the more id want it to look professional. If i was paying a coupe of grand for a car then it wouldnt be a problem but when you start thinking 10-15k + you want it to look more like a real showroom where some money has been spent. So that it looks like the owner is in it for the long run and not a quick buck. If it looks like your there to stay then it means your willing to work through issues you have with customers and therefore hopefully have good customer service wher if i had a problem with my 20k car i could go back and get it sorted, where the dealership isnt scared of forking out for warranty work to be done.. It wouldnt put me off buying but it would make me more sceptical and hesitant on buying..
  19. cheers my main question was how much are people generally payin for each service.. sort of ball park figure. because im assuming 350 Z and the skyline would be similar in price for servicing. Nissan garage arnt very helpful on that front. My local Nissan garage which is one of the cheapest does L1 £89, L2 £159 and L3 £189. P services are more expensive as there done during the Warranty period... If you do a search on here theres loads of info on P service prices.
  20. Whats wrong? Scared? Im not bad at paintballing but its abit far to be honest. Im quite surprised you've put yourself in the Southern group too..
  21. Zedrush has a 350z mate although its got nearly every mod going that BigPhil sells  L1, L2, and L3 are pretty much the same as P1, P2 and P3 except they are done out of warranty.
