although your insured, the only way the police can check is by using this database. So if your not on it, the police pretty much suspect your not insured. If they want to be funny with you they could, under suspision take your car off you, and like i said, ive heard it been done. Most major insurance companies are signed upto this. Like i said, have a word with your insurers and ask if theres anyway you can be added.

Ring ur insurers and get them put on the register. My mates a copper and its not unheard of them taking ur car off you for suspecting you dont have insurance. the MID is used by the police to do a PNC check when they pull you over.. Just checked my last car and thats on there too!

I stuck my number plate on too, theres pics on here if you search. Works a treat and makes the front look ever so slightly better. My jdm plate was screwed toa bracket and it was teh bracket that was stuck to the car, im not sure if its the same with UK cars but just unscrew it and have a look, cant do no harm unless your ham fisted.

I'm sure people won't mind you making a quick comparison. I would have thought the ST, especially in your spec will be much quicker than a Zed. +1 id have to agree with that. Having followed my friends standard RS (who i would say had similar talents ) in the Zed i only had the edge at motorway speeds, so with the ST which im sure is a fair bit quicker with 290bhp would be faster than the Zed. Not that it matters much.... but it does put in perspective what youve got under your right foot.
