I love alfas styling but like louis the performance just lets it down and that just puts an end to even thinking about buying one. Saying that it has Ferrari links, id expect it to be alot better. Ive always also loved alfa's interiors, especially the ribbed seats, but that centre console looks dated. Apart from having a screen in it, the consoel could have come out of any older model.

to be fair it does look good, but it just looks like alot of other rally stuff I think colin mcrae or carlos sainz did a slide very similar to that..

when you travelling up Martin? I live just off the M6 and usually go down the A59 towards york which is a top road if its quiet and then jump on the A1. Will be joining the M6 at J36 and normall go up to Tebay then over to Scotch Corner, its an hour-15 to Scotch corner that way so would look to be leavig about 12 to 12-30. Could meet at the srvices south of J36, I will make a little detour. Suggest if we are going to do this someone post up new thread in th Meets section. I know thre are a few more around that area that may come down Oh no that dreaded road!! that has to be the most windy rainy road going haha, They sometimes close that road during winter. Not the way I read it. Renault tried to understand the J-damper with the intention of getting it banned but in the end they got it wrong. Although they were unsuccessful they still didn't try to implement the same device in their car. Possibly, but was that their intention? Maybe they didnt implement it in there car because they found they had a better design. that would still be benefitial in itself. Thing is they broke rule 151c and they are still not going to get punished... i dont get what rules are for.

So even though they broke the rules, used the information to test some components, because the components wernt successfull they haven't punished them? huh? Renault only told the FIA and Mclaren because they knew they had been found out....! Also looks they they did have a discussion over the information too. Just like the Mclaren got punished because of something there employee/s did so should Renault in my eyes. As i said before, anyone who breaks the rules should be punished.
