  1. haha your not getting out of it that easy mate! its going to take me over 1 1/2 hours to get there too but im still going!
  2. You will hear it. Its just that on mine it was less pronounced than when i had the filter on its own. The exhaust kind of complimented the engine note. The sound wasnt just coming from one place then, which for me was what i wanted.
  3. If you can start to induce the drift, like a scandinavian flick instead of just turning in, then using the handbrake can help get it drifting. You usually tend to need more speed to use the handbrake. Alot of the drifters use mechanical handbrakes which give you better control and power.
  4. hehe Your right. For me though the K&N it was loud enough with the lid on. The only time the sound was muted was when i added my stainless steel exhaust
  5. True but he could always take the lid off... and then it'll be pretty much as the Pop charger is.
  6. +1 could be something to do with the sound system and a bad earth. My Zed gave a hissing noise from the speakers.
  7. well thats what they call it anyway.. http://www.autosport-international.com/ ... link43.asp
  8. Nope he pretty much invented drifting. He used the technique in touge races which is usually a twisty mountain road.
  9. generally speaking drifting/sliding will not be the quickest way round a corner (on tarmac at least)! but it does look good of course you dont see F1 drivers drifting.. You need to watch Race of Champions then! Theyd drift round nearly every corner Your right though, drifting isnt the fastest way.
  10. going off what Louis is saying. Id give up now, you sound like a sunday driver
  11. best thing to do is slowly build up to it. TC off, get on an empty car park. Drive slowly at say 10mph (will help with controlling the car and your less likely to hit anything) then apply some lock and mash the throttle at the same time. As the car starts to drift start to apply some opposite lock and use your throttle and steering to control the slide. I used to practice coming out of junctions as most of the time you can keep the throttle down and just use the steering to control the slide and straighten up. Saw plenty of people doing it on the Wales run Start at low speeds and build up.
  12. Leave some food out, it may entice the hampster out your rear bumper... Not sure Nissan can do anything with pet animals... sorry
  13. Good Man!! The aftermarket exhausts on Zed all sound good to me. You wont be disapointed in the DC.
  14. Yeah, ive realised how much i miss the V6 growl since not owning one! I loved my time with the Zed but i cant see myself back in one anytime soon. you have pm anyway.
  15. Where you been hiding Liam, its been over a year since them pics! You still feeling ill... Anyway, these pics dont do them justice. Look alot nicer in the flesh!
  16. Nice watch that Tim, i thought taste went out the window with age! Brietling just remind me of the Germans during the war too much. i'd rather stick with the Tag. looks better in my opinion too.
  17. Really? That is Sarah and my 1 year anniversary, in fact, i met her for the first time and we went on our first date the day after i went to Autosport last year Your just jelous Liam
  18. right, im gunna get tickets to this for me and my bro. I like the idea that for a few extra £'s you get a paddock pass. BUT everything looks mega confusing and im abit scared that im going to miss the good stuff with soo much on! i guess i'll only be there for one day so has anyone any tips on what time i should turn up and look at what in which order?
  19. (he'll kill me when he sees me.. ) but ive blagged Zedrush He's definately meeting up with us after the meal now, with no excuses of pulling out. So i guess that means Limiter too.
  20. I used to get the Zed sideways a fair bit really. As long as it was dry and the roads where clear. I always took my time in the wet, it isnt worth it.
