You could get them recovered for ~£500. Not having the heated seats or bose wouldnt bother me. Price seems about right to me. Retail is £26,795 before any discount new, then youve got the fact that its the older model and a non GT pack.

Yeah, the gearing is meant to be soo long that it cant use is extra power efficiently. Id guess the tdci would just be as quick as well as being better on fuel. I do like the looks of the 170 but you can get the tdci in a similar kit. The 170 will need to be revved alot to make progress were the tdci will have alot of midrange grunt which i would presume will be better for the wife.

no experience but id go tdci. Gearing on the 170 is meant to be too long.

Martin - you have a pm. The dual exit i got cost me £400. I think it retails at around £600-650 mark from the place i mentioned in my mail. As mentioned welding was top notch, and id go as far as to say it welded better than the Nismo. However, the Nismo for me is one of the best sounding exhausts available for the Z. Supposedly, unless your going FI the single piping can produce better HP results, as well as having the benefit of being lighter. Why Bedford only? Bigger run off areas i guess...? My concern would not be driving into the barriers, more other drivers driving into me which could happen anywhere? +1 , i dont intend on pushing so hard to go near a barrier. Especially on my first track day.

I reckon sinbad will like it and P15UL T I do like it. Keeps getting raving reviews and mentions of it being the best new fwd car available. Its not as good looking as the Teg for me but its meant to drive better. Performance is meant to be better than the Teg too but this is meant to be down to its bridgstones 070's it wears. Im with Digsy though, it would be much better if it looked like the UK model. Dicksons of Perths and 200bhpcars are importing these in along with Litchfields. Id be tempted if i was after a small family car.
