Go for the PE kit, you dont have to go for big power just a nice solid power curve with loads of torque and concentrate on improving other aspects of the car. i know your sorting the brakes and suspension so maybe look at the drivetrain, further chassis bracing if needed and weight reduction (lose some weight tubby! ). not to mention some driving courses. The cosworth plenum maybe worth a look too if/when their results are given out along with a good exhaust setup can yeald a few extra ponies. Making sure you have a good map can be the difference between a reliable 370 and 380bhp.. So get the best tuner available.

+1 I dont judge people by there cars, i mean Sarnie Drives a Lambo but he's still an arse! Me and my mate went into Porsche, having turned up in his mud covered focus i would have thought we'd get the cold shoulder but i was wrong. Im just surprised TDi think a spacer doesn't do anything, no gains or losses. A spacer changes the area in the Plenum so i would have thought it would have done something, even if it was just a small gain or loss in a particular area. All i can put it down to is that the ones TDi have done have all been on the standard ecu's..

Hi, some came in last December but were immediately sent out to customers so we didn't get a chance to do any testing. There is quite a big waiting list for them but the next one on the list is being fitted and tested here so I'll let you know the results. We haven't seen any plenum spacer kits that actually work yet, so it'll be quite interesting. What do you mean by work? As in peak power, area under the curve. Are you saying that the plenum kits you've tested have made a loss? Which ones have you tested? Im sure the Cosworth will make more than the spacers it looks like a decent bit of kit, but just want to know the facts.
