Get under the car and visually check the engine mounts and droplinks again. Could it not be a worn/faulty damper? Check them by pushing the car down at each corner of the car. Car should bounch once then stop. If it kinda wollows then it could be the shock.

With regards to the mini, definately get the earlier model, good residuals with them being very similar to the newer one and looks better IMO. I averaged about 300 miles to a tank. As Digsy mentioned its about a number of factors, someone flooring it upto 40 will use much more fuel than someone who takes there time to get to 50. The best speed to be at for fuel consumption is around 56mph in 6th gear at a constant speed.

Defo a club , not just a forum ..you were unfortunate in joining at the wrong time of year when there are no immediate meets or runs planned.. +1 theres plenty through the year with Wales being one of the biggger better meets. This club is growing all the time so you'll find that as time goes on more and more events will be added to the calender.

Nice find. The impreza is pretty good in the bends and under braking. My DC5 has the best brakes out of the 350z and STi, so they must be pretty good to catch the DC5 underbraking. Your obviously getting some research in before next tuesday hers another one for you :
