  1. Who cares. The handsfree system of the Z is a pile of sh*t anywayz
  2. I can only compare with motorcycles, but if the analogy holds a better car will not automatically mean better laptimes. Well, i mean, significantly better laptimes. Now ok, if you were going from a Ford Ka to the Gallardo this will have an influence, and a HUGE one, but its not like the 350Z is some kind of old crappy vehicle. I guess you will be faster but not with a huge margin, for the reasons you stated yourself. If your car can brake later, and corner faster, its still the nut connecting the seat and the steering wheel that has to do it
  3. As I said, deserted car parks. Oh yeah, and big car parks. You need lots of space, so supermarket ones with shopping trolleys, small trees and curbs arent necessarily the best choice
  4. NOT on a public road, but preferably an empty carpark The easiest, turn and somewhere during the turn just push hard on the accelerator. The car will spin out. Now repeat this but with a little less pushing on the accelerator until you can keep it sliding. Simple as that .... (the theory that is, controlling a slide takes a lot of practice). There are a lot of ways to slide. Search on google for some videos of "the drift king", there is a video of about 1h out there with him explaining all kinds of slides and drifts It puts quite some stress on some parts of the suspension/... of the car as you have forces on it sideways. If you want to play i suggest doing this in wet weather because it will slide more easily, and it will be at lower speeds and less abrupt.
  5. Crap picture quality he says ... My digital camera has worse picture quality than your cellphone one
  6. Because for B&Q's warranty you ll have to ship your stuff back to Japan?
  7. Ah, so you are the kind of guy that releases the accelerator pedal half a mile before arriving at an intersection where there is a green light, just in case it might turn red, and it bloody will because when arriving at the intersection you will be doing about 10mph
  8. Just wondering, why would you want to buy a car of that kind of budget, and then start "messing about" by going the parallel import route .... Sounds a bit like "If you wanna play, you gotta be able to pay" (and I cant pay ... )
  9. Its RWD, and RWD should be treated with respect, certainly in the wet. Some people maybe come from FWD cars alla golf GTI, which have quite some power, but it is not comparable. Last weekend in some torrential downpour i was a passenger in an A3 quattro. I can tell you that if I were to drive the same way with the Z i wouldnt last 1 corner without crashing it on corner exit.
  10. Considering the fact it will be a woman driving it.... How long before those alloys will be curbed?
  11. Those Ferarri links are more Fiat links imho
  12. The rear looks really cool, the interiour is quite nice, but OMG that front

Most Porsche buyers can't even tell the difference between a great chassis and a milk carton, and that says it all basically
  14. are you talking about clutches or brakes?

4WD does not give you extra traction mid-corner.. And they used cut-up slicks, which you cannot compare to road-tyres... Also, check the quote I copied. How can it be faster than those cars in a straight line with those figures....

on another forum i read this:
  17. They do have some nice looking ladies dough

 thats right. Talking about performance cars in a thread we never discuss stuff like that, the only things that get discussed are stuff like luggage space, ISOFIX child seat support and whether the glove box is cooled or not

And the reason you started another thread about it is...?
  20. No, but I still do remember that story
